please please watch "art of life" live by x japan,, it's yoshiki's 30 minute masterpiece that he created and they performed the full version i believe only twice in their whole career, and both times in the 90's. either yoshiki's or the x japan channel has a high quality full version, its yoshiki's insane creation.

They were not created the regular k-pop industrial machinery but rather evolved in spite of it. BTS are talented composers, directors, musicians and artists who maintain control of their music, unlike generic k-pop groups. AG is just fire from the early jazz inspired Dokubana, social commentary of Koi Geba to the wacky fun of Pineapple Kryptonite and now the Metal collab with Maximumthe Hormone, AG cannot be caged or put into one genre. They are simply original and fabulous. Interesting that even before their new collab on Shimi they have huge numbers of metal fans.

Dive deep into the lyrics of the songs because they are amazing lyricists! To date, BTS has received many more awards as a band and as soloists but what sets them apart from other groups is their long standing love for and mutual relationship with ARMY. I recommend watching Xcelete's "BTS Hardships 2013-2021" video so you can see why ARMY is very protective of BTS. Since Jimin's birthday is coming up on Oct 13th, I recommend watching "Park Jimin Introduction 2024" by TheJiminVideos. You will often hear/see "BTS Paved The Way" because it's true!

AG killing it on their World Tour right now.... this First Take performance now one of the most popular and an excellent introduction to their personality. Check out their recent collaboration with legendary Japanese rock band Maximum the Hormone.

When I first saw this I was impressed that AG! had done the most important thing so well ie. come up with a fun way to get on and off stage. They set the atmosphere from the first second and leave you smiling at the end. AG! formed back in 2015 and are managed by Asobisystem and 88Rising. Mizyu (two hair bunches) had already worked with Asobisystem as a backup dancer with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Suzuka, Kanon and Rin joined her. Mizyu is three years older than the others and so was sometimes called the leader by journalists, and the others still look to her in some circumstances, but Suzuka's extrovert personality and strong voice make her the obvious front woman. Still, AG! are always quick to say that they have no leader. They are all trained dancers and do all of the choreography themselves and work with various producers on the songs including H ZettM, Money Mark and Yonkey. This artistic input sets them apart from most J-pop and K-pop "idol type" groups and their stage shows are performed with a unique joy and flair. They just released a new album called "AG! Calling" and they get song writing credits with various producers. Otona Blue (Adult Blues) contains a double meaning as Suzuka says "Otona buru" on purpose which means to "act like an adult". It's about "teenage awakening" ie. the awareness of desire in others and their own desire to grow up and experience adult emotions, or at least their fantasy of them. AG wrote the lyrics when they were younger (they are all in their 20s now) and I think it's an honest expression of their feelings as they approached adulthood, which can make people uncomfortable, but it seems like an important subject for 4 young women who started performing in front of people when they were teenagers. The lyrics are about trying to act older and they are combined with a deliberately coquettish dance. The music has a retro vibe as it's heavily influenced by an 80s Showa era song by Akiko Wada called "Furui Nikki". I recommend you react to some live performances with audiences as that's where AG! are the best. These videos are usually from fan cams so they are not technically the best, but you get an idea of them in concert. Have a look for "Atarashii Gakko! live in Koln - NaiNaiNai".
