I'm guessing that's an 86-88 YZ125 judging by the fender, forks? Have a showroom condition 86 myself, 2 races on the bike in 86 and has been an ornament since. It's hard as hell not to fire it up!

No im hyperactive so i just concentrate on breathing an just calming down...my secret is i leave my goggles off as long as i can because to many times the guys play games an dont drop the gate on time...i dont count 30 second local track crews are as well planned as The AMA... i just tryed to act as calm as i can an watch the pin thay holds the gate to my right i believe...to many guys get focused an then let it slip away stay calm helps u explode off tje gate moving...because ur not over anxious..i move my leftt hand fingers to burn an a third throttle only when i know its time to drop ...soon as the gate jiggles im in 3rd already..before it hits the ground...good luck with ur mission..mr felps...these goggles will self dedtruct in 5 second..whether the gate falls or not...peace...

That's awesome I had that happen to me years ago when I was racing 80s and the guy wanted to buy me and couldn't get by screamed yelled a little bit and I let him go cuz I thought he was going to crash me and he was just letting me know when he was really just passing me so then I tried it from then on and it works.😅
