Grizzly vs Black Bear Sow with cubs
Was out hunting with my dad tonight and seen a grizzly bear 40 minutes outside of Whitecourt Ab. Got the camera recording and drove up to him only to find him digging the roof off a bear den that had a black bear sow and three cubs cornered inside of it. In the video the sow tried to fight her way out and one of the cubs tried to make his escape. The grizzly got the one cub but the sow and other two cubs made it away. Craziest thing to watch from less the ten yards away sitting in the truck. #nature #grizzly #blackbear #naturalselection #bearkillscub #outdoors #alberta #insanefootage

Man I thought this would be about a single mother ruthlessly fighting in the hood. But i guess the "cubs" part.
And grizzly bears do not care one bit about your screams as they eat you alive. Just think, that could be a human in those woods screaming. Freaks me out, it's just heartbreaking to hear that poor little guy.

For everybody saying they feel sorry for the baby. That same baby would have grown and killed some baby deer or dog or something. It’s how nature goes.

Not quite. Grizzlies don’t dispatch their prey right away. They eat the limbs first to preserve the warmth of the torso as long as possible. In other words, they eat you alive.
The time when the grizzly pursues and the cub starts screaming. Nope, it didn't reach any tree but the griz stomach.

So, where's the Black Bear Grizzly fight? All I heard was the Grizzly killing the baby Black Bear and the other cub running for it's life with the mother nowhere in sight.
After the cub was caught, the mother bear was the 2nd bear that came and darted to safety. She was the one fighting at the cave entrance. You think cubs were fighting?
So it's like the Predator series, bigger ones hunt the smaller ones, a family feud..that has been going on for generations!

Решение одно уничтожить конкурента посягающих на его потенциальные добычи, чтобы только его организм не испытывал голода...ужасно, что какой то из трёх медвежат стал ценой спасения. Черная медведица интуитивно не стала вступать в неравный бой, иначе погибли бы все и генетическая ветка угасла бы. Гризли конечно может и продолжить свою охоту на выживших, потому что конкурирующие рты ему особенно не нужны

You guys could of shot a round to scare him off, Normally I wouldn’t interfere, But coming in through your roof into your bed you’ve been in since the late fall !!!! Hungry and stiff as hell were the black bears , Think , Being sleeping / hibernating since late fall to spring !!!! Chicken shit ! So give ‘em a break ! Seems he treed the cub or is got it’s leg going up the tree ? Just tight ! I grew up in the sierras so I know wildlife extremely well and go by let nature take its course , This would of been an exception to me ! Looked like the Grizzly had hit a few dens plus already !! Pretty stocky and not a young boar or sow ? Who was starving , Think of what I said , Tight as hell !

Are you kidding me? I’ve watched mother black bears take off like a shot at the sight of a grizzly cubs be DAMNED. She knows she can have more, but only if SHE isn’t the one killed. Life ain’t a Disney movie and mother bears will only fight opponents they know they can beat. Anything else and well, that’s what the cubs are for
