The original Quicksilver Messenger Service was a project dreamt up by Dino Valenti (aka Chester Powers among many alter egos). He wanted them to perform with then-revolutionary wireless guitars and all manner of gizmos and female backing singers.
In 1975, the original lineup of Quicksilver, including Valenti, reunited for an album and tour before officially disbanding. Gary Duncan reunited Quicksilver briefly in 1986 for the album, Peace by Piece. He has been leading a band called Quicksilver 98, playing in the spirit of the band's classic material.
They were part of the new wave of album-oriented bands, achieving renown and popularity despite a lack of success with their singles (only one, "Fresh Air" charted, reaching number 49 in 1970).
John Cipollina, Greg Elmore, David Freiberg, Gary Duncan, and Jim Murray were the founding members of the San Francisco psychedelic rock band known as Quicksilver Messenger Service. During the 1960's, Quicksilver Messenger Service was one of the most popular and well respected bands playing in the acid rock scene.

Thank U 4 sharing this 'gem'. This band was more than one hit song band 👍🎶. The 'Hoochy-Goochy man' version was awesome! The singer is great, the 'organ' player gives the identity and sound to the whole band. The band play great together. You dont have anything equal left any more. Just Bieber and Taylor dominate the scene and Bruce Bringsteen tours and collect money by selling rights. Uff. Groce.

I think it depends where you are. I live in Vancouver, BC and with my A/V system it came out 5.1.
Yes UA-cam supports 5.1. My own channel and several other channels upload only surround sound music. The easiest way to stream it is to use a UA-cam app on a streaming device like an AppleTv, Roku, Firestick, Nvidia Shield, etc. You can also ChromeCast the videos from your mobile app to your TV if it sos connected to your 5.1 receiver.
