I was working at a casino in 2007, and they all came in the eat. I sat at the table to chat with them, and they told me about the accident and Johnny and their own injuries that horrible morning. Nice group of down to earth people. I was like wow I never thought I would be talking to a band so big and famous in my life. I grew up listening to them as a teenager in the early 80's. Great times for sure. I love these guys.

To the person who made a negative comment about the current Lynyrd Skynyrd band: Ronnie loved his brother Johnny and would have been proud that he kept the band going. Johnny has done a phenomenal job keeping his brother's legacy alive. All the guys in Skynyrd are awesome! I loved seeing them in person when they came to NJ.

The remaining members and followers will always love and support this band ,no matter what. Seen them 10 plus times, please leave them alone.

I do not understand how they can keep playing and making money off of the Lynrd Skynrd name. I think it is disrespectful to the original band members. They are all dead. That is not Skynrd out there. I mean I love those old songs but I can not go along with this.
