Sorry you lost gold, recently prices for a lot of the high end mats have dropped a lot so its harder to make a profit. it's still do able but you have to be much more careful with it. Hopefully with the new patch this week prices will go back up

@@RobiRobi-f2g Only thaumaturgy the cheapest mat and the transmutagens. What I call the first press generally rank 1 Mycobloom/Stormcharged Leather/Gloom Chitin gets converted into rank 2 mats, this is always a large gold loss in most cases. The second press is where you start making the gold back, run all the transmutagens you got in the first press through thaumaturgy to get more rank 2 mats (I use a Goblin 105/105, all rank 5 tools/accesssories resourcefulness and enchant, full build completed). The third press is running all the Mycobloom/Stormcharged/Gloom from transmutagens back through again. The fourth press is the same as the second. You just repeat this process till you run out of the cheapest material that is getting thaumatugied and you use up transmutagens. Items like aqirite and blessing blossom can be thaumaturgied but I send aqirite to prospector/BS/eng and normally rank 2 blossom to herbalist to turn into rank 3 blossom (check prices). Take into account your daily transmutes never cap on 8/8, and your first thaumaturgy of the day bonus pays in the long run. Convert gleaming into Blasphemite or use chaos daily transmute. If it's viable can send rank 2 herbs or Bismuth to herbalist/miner to convert into rank 3 version. I look at my thaumaturgy alchemist as the backbone of all my other crafters it feeds everyone. I honestly don't hit that 70k GPH but it is profitable.

@crismayewski7070 I just went back and checked my math and your right. I thought the last 2 accessories I craft this week would get there but nope, 2 short. This is pretty cruel of blizz but atleast skill still benefital and needed if you want to go into any of the other builds. Hopefully the give us an epic tool in the future to get those last 2.

@@RyleighCH only solution now is to SWAP race to goblin WHO got + 5 racial to alchemy or wait for tool upgrades. I see two explanstion: Blizzard plans to provide some prof upgrades in the near future or IT is just bad joke.

I'm not sure sorry, it maybe possible as you unlock them from transmuting transmutigens bit with out any points it will take a lot of mats. I also didn't get the last 2 from omnious until I had near fully specced out it's tree so there maybe some hidden requirements.

@Llumferatus transmutes still have a cool down but the blasphemite recipe is not counted as a transmute

@@RyleighCH I wish I knew the internal math so I could calculate for my skill and resourcefulness. It's be nice to have a sheet open, punch in some market numbers and see a simple Boolean result. To transmute or not to transmute, that is the question.

It's quite possible that beginning ominous is the best play even though it's products don't justify the transmute alone. Converting Ominous -> Mercurial -> Volatile had a lot of T value given the results of thaumaturgical operation on each transmutagen. Further testing is required.

@mistakai4226 I might give it a test it's the only one I haven't actually tried do to how close all the mats are in value

@@RyleighCH I started with it before mycovloom spiked. If you can buy 16 and under, then sell the product during peak hours you get the benefit of T producing Luredrop and then arathors spear instead of traversing through the ominous products first if you know what I mean. I might try a small vet the week.

@@griff7543 don't underestimate the transmutagens. 22-65 is extremely tight and I wouldn't do that unless orbinid was at 32 to offset some of the losses. If your turning everything to Luredrop, it needs to be over triple the cost of gloom chitin. Closer to 3.5x actually. Buying gloom at 22g is a huge mistake right now though.

For sure, I probably should have said something like this. If the difference between cheapest mats and most expensive inst enough it eat away at profits.

Unfortunately I don't play on EU so can't test their market

Bought in for 8700. Ended up with -600 gold. Tried it again Ended up with another -400 gold. 3rd time again Ended up -540 gold. Used 900 artisan to buy all 3 knowledge point books. Wasted character for now.

Pretty much any method to 'Get Rich Quick' shown will be tanked by the time we see it, they only show you the 'Gold rush' period, a quick check on the auction house will show prices way different, people are making money with gathering, selling to people trying to reproduce what they see, then failing when they sell the items.

same, bought30k worth of gloom chitin, and with maxed Thaum, mercurial, and Gleaming only made 28.6k back. The price differential between cheapest mat and most valuable mat needs to be greater than 1:4 to turn a profit.

Thanks for the comment. I dont use swift cast until we have bosses on farm. As for rotation, I change to what's ever most comfortable to me for the fight. I don't care about parsing, so the minor dps loss doesn't bother me.
