Modern Technology - A song I wrote in my apartment in Ulm, West Germany in January 1985. The original song was written on a Fostex X-15 four track cassette recorder using a Korg DW-8000 Synth, and 1 minute of drums recorded from a Casio Keyboard borrowed from a neighbor kid (Thank you, Mehmet). Over the years, I tried various synthesizers, but nothing seemed to work until I invested in Ableton suite 8, and remade the tune again 25 years later, in March of 2010 in my bedroom using a laptop in Rochelle, Illinois, USA. Update: Added Arturia's Augmented Strings. Recorded in Ableton 12.
