Great informative video! My wife and I are traveling to the Scottish highlands in late may/early June. How did both your jackets hold up with wind and rain? Any suggestions in hindsight?

Lovely video folks. I really can’t believe you had all that sunny weather….that’s not typical. I proposed to my wife at Glencoe Lochan in 2014 and she said “Yes” five years later in the gardens of Inveraray Castle !! Scotland is just magical, we still live on the west coast by a loch…. 😊

Only one part of America is further north than the UK that's Alaska. Infact parts of the UK is farther north than the alskan peninsula. The weather in the UK is very mild fir a country so far north On aversge there are more rainy days in New York than there are in London

Seems like you completely missed the best and most spectacular part which are the Cuillin mountains in the south, particularly the view from Elgol.

What is it you with you yanks, England is a different country not a different planet?

Part of me groans at Americans visiting the same old locations like the UK is a theme park but then I walk out my door straight into beautiful countryside without a tourist in sight and suddenly their ant-like scurrying from one touristy sugar cube to another seems a blessing.

Just a heads up.... thinking about UK and Irish weather in terms of days is risky. 30 minutes is looking far enough ahead 😜

It’s quite weird that Glenfinnan is nowadays best known for a viaduct that appeared in a film. When I was a child in Scotland (long ago!) the viaduct was of only passing interest and the point of going to Glenfinnan at the head of Loch Shiel was that it was the site of the landing from France of Charles Edward Stuart and the beginning of the last Jacobite rising. Commemorated by that monument that appeared (briefly and in the background!) in your video.

Cotswolds is beautiful but always busy with lots of tourist hot spots. I lived there for a while but these days much prefer being in quieter countryside. Thanks for your video, it was enjoyable to watch

Bourbon-on-the-water is the most touristy town in the Cotswolds. It’s very nice but other towns are better to visit. 😊

History tour that started with the vikings ,doesn't sound great irish history started long before the vikings.If it was just dublin ok because vikings established the first secular cities as there were monastic cities before that.

Euwen magregor is from Crieff in Perthshire and Gerrard Butler is from Comrie a stunning village next to Crieff. Andy Murry is also from near by. I think it must be something in the watter. My mum is a MaCdonald and Glen Coe is where the MaCdonalds were Masicard. I come from 2 of the top 3 masacard Clans in Scotland, lucky to be here. Lovely vidio, thank you.

We have wonderful Haggis breading farms to keep them all happy and taisty. Wild Haggis are bugers to catch so yes to farmed. Neep and tatties are also fantastic.
