I don't get those reprinted covers when they look awful and are sold at full price. There have been a lot times where I've turned down titles I really want and need in my collection because of a reprinted cover.

Do I need proof of address or just passport/licence to sell ps4 games in CEX or can I just walk in the store and sell for cash. (England)

I actually had bought an Elite Series 2 controller from them nearly 2 years ago and the dreaded RB button was going so took it into my local where they know me with my receipt and they looked at it and decided they couldn’t fix it so I asked for a replacement for which they did as they have that new five year policy now for accessories. After a week of them getting another in I got the same controller so am really happy with the service from the Gravesend store. 😎👍🏼

Dragons Crown is a great game, like an action RPG. But its £4.99 on the PS store at the mo so maybe give it a go digitally?

so i’ve been focusing on improving my overall health, and i finally got that doctor’s appointment i’d been putting off. the results came back better than expected-my cholesterol is down, my energy’s up, and i just feel so much more in tune with myself. it’s like everything just clicked once i started putting my energy towards health and well-being. i think it’s thanks to Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, which i read after seeing it mentioned so often in comments. it really helped me shift my mindset and manifest the health i was craving.

so i’ve been thinking a lot about money lately, and out of nowhere, i got this unexpected bonus at work. like, i didn’t even know it was coming, but there it was, a huge check that just appeared. i didn’t even have to ask for it, and honestly, i’ve been feeling like things are just flowing to me. i had seen Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane in a bunch of comments online, so i decided to read it. maybe there’s something to the idea of truly focusing on abundance and letting it come to you

my health has been so much better lately. a few months ago, i was struggling with energy and feeling off, but now i’ve been waking up early, feeling energized, and hitting my workout goals every single day. i didn’t do anything drastic, just started focusing on feeling healthy and strong. i think it has to do with this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, that i read. it talks about how focusing your energy on your goals really shifts things, and i guess it worked for me.

I’ve generally always had luck in Stoke CeX, but I agree they can be really hit/miss. Newcastle Under-Lyme can be a decent one for finding some decent finds👌

The quarry is amazing literally like playing through a horror movie and the cast is stacked, definitely one of my favourite choice option games

9:40 weirdly at cex i actually had a case where i bought that specific of dying light and it said “no dlc” but i got the dlc code in the case and it worked lol they charged same amount as standard too

The issue with your idea of games that really push the hardware, that couldn't be done on previus generations is... that really isn't a thing anymore. Like the Telekinesis game you mentioned could probably be pulled off on the PS3. PS3 had Half-Life 2, Portal 1 AND Portal 2. We've been able to do good physics sims for quite a while now, hardware limitations are not the issue.

To be fair, when I was a kid, most people had a computer. I live in Aus and there was a whole governmental push to get people into computing in the mid 80's... probably got it from the Brits. If you went to a video game store, it was wall to wall PC games. If you wanted a console game you had to go to a toy store

They could make the PS5 fully backwards compatible... they won't do that, because if they did then people largely wouldn't buy the new stuff that is coming out. Specially with stuff like racing games. I went back and played some of my old PS2 racing games during the pandemic and... They were actually really fun! The PS3 actually had some pretty unique hardware that is a bit of a pain to emulate, but that is not a problem with 4 and 5. PS5 is basically just a higher spec machine. But in that environment, if you want to sell people new games they have to at least be good. Not the microtransaction leaden slop they are currently making
