I'm just a simple person who enjoys music - either listening to some good ones or creating something new. I compose and arrange some music in my free time. Sometimes, I experiment with reharmonizing some pieces that I like and see how they transform into something completely different.
This channel is where I share my creations. I'd be so happy if you could enjoy them.
Also, I do arrangements on this channel. They are for my students. So, if you want to play them, you can send an email to my contact below. I hope you would enjoy playing them.

No.9 - 24 Preludes for Piano (2024) - Sheet Music/Score [Original Composition]
Description: No.9 "A vision from the past, an absence of the present, and an echo from the future. The music differs in several layers, happening at the same time. But one could hear the melody so lifeless and disinterested in the center of it all."

I give this piece a name, "That Annoying Mosquito." It is all thanks to that mosquito flying annoyingly around me as I practice on the piano. Description: No.8 "Pure rage and anger. This is my next set of 24 pieces for piano. These are other experiments and sketches that are my outputs in 2024. Chopin prelude?
@@jejejejhola Yes, that’s one of the sources of my inspirations for this piece. There are also hints of Scriabin, Sorabji, and others, if you look carefully into the details of this piece. :D After I took a look at the finished pieces of this set, it’s more like I put the main idea or inspiration in the spotlight. I then add or combine it with other ideas in my own way, turning it into a new piece.
the fugue subject reminds me of the main theme from francis battah's 1st prelude for piano. i really love the cadence as well
@@erwinschulhoff4464 I see what you mean for the subject of this fugue. I’ve checked that, and it has shared a few similarity to that main theme. I have been questioning for a while about where I have heard something quite familiar to the subject. Thanks for pointing it out for me. I have now found the answer I’m searching for since when I start writing this piece.
hoy crap!!! there was something for about a month that was playing in my head obsessively and i just realised its the opening to this piece!!!! i am genuinely surprised, its like finding a song you forgot the title of and only knew the lyrics but sang anyway. its very interesting hearing this take on jazz, i wouldent say it is like kapustin, beacuse he is slightly more generous with extensions and his rhythm is more dynamic, and i wouldent say it is gershwin beacuse he isnt as aggressive (this is an ultra generalisation of course and there are many exceptions but you can kind of see what i am saying). I am tempted to say its inbetween the two but there is obvioiusly more to it. PS: also i love the codetta, it reminds me of your unaccompanied drumming haha!!
It’s nice to see your view of this piece. This one comes up because one of my musician friends, a jazz musician who plays a double bass, says that my harmony is already close to what many jazz musicians do in their works. So, he urged me to try to compose something in this style, but from the point of view of the classical composer. That’s why this piece has no clear form, in my opinion. And the other sections are just merely my improvisations over the same chord progressions. One can say that they are variations on the same chords. Therefore, the inspirations are elsewhere completely outside of the classical pieces. However, I’ve listened to many pieces from Kapustin, Joplin, and Gershwin. They may have left many things that I did subconsciously. This piece is a very fun little piece that I took only a few minutes to finish as well, to keep the improvisational elements fresh and clear. I’m very happy that it has become a nice tune that hooks into your memory. (As well as one of the very visible secret motives being used in the entire set.) I think that it has already found its place. Thanks a lot for your comments. I’m highly appreciated them all. They were a nice conversation with like-minded people.
In addition, about the Codetta, I try to use both dominant chord and tritone substitution at the same time; a polychord, some might call that. Or you can analyze it as G7(b9, #11) (which I spell #11 as b12 (Db)), that resolves to C; a perfect V-I cadence. I also play a bit with the rhythmic pattern. Moreover, I understand how they remind you of “Unaccompanied Drumming”. After I read this comment, I make a quick check on both pieces, and notice a bit of similarity as well.
I always find myself returning to your compositions. The way the transition leads into the dragon dance the second time is quite mesmorising. Overall these piece is so addictive and fun, ive probably listened to this album about 100 times now! I try to share your music in discord servers im in beacuse honestly as ive said before your work deserves more attention!!

Wow, each variation holds true to the nature of the theme. This quality is incredibly rare to see on youtube in my opinion. I have a few questions: Have you gone to Music school before? What books do you use to study composition?
English is not my native language, so the following answers may be quite difficult to understand, or misleading. But I'm trying my best to deliver my best answer for each question. Q: Have you gone to Music school before? A: I am a self-taught composer, arranger, singer, and musician until 2014 when I got into the music conservatory for my Master's degree in music composition. I graduated in 2018. (FYI, my bachelor's degree is in law.) Q: What books do you use to study composition? A: That is quite a hard question to answer. I read a lot of books, but none was specifically about composition. Instead, I like to listen to various music and analyze them by looking at the score (if possible), trying to find out how they work, or reading articles about their concepts or techniques. As I'm a self-taught composer for more than half of my life, I like to do and try many things myself. And that also comes to my compositional approach. Moreover, music theories are, in my opinion, the best instruments to understand and dissect music in various categories. So, I always encourage music students to learn more theories, not for what they are, but for how to use them to obtain their ideas, concepts, perceptions, or techniques. And since late 2019, I have been occasionally giving lectures in music theory classes at the local university in my hometown. But they are more like a hobby as well as composing, and studying in music. That's why I'm so slow in composition. I don't have much free time. I hope that my answer can clear up your curiosity. I'm trying to keep it short. But feel free to ask if it is something that I can answer. P.S. I have another variation piece on my channel. I don't know if you have already listened to that. It is "15 Variations on the Theme of 'Toei-Khong'" for Piano. The theme is the traditional music around the region of my hometown. And each variation is after different piece from different composer in western music history. (I recommend trying to figure out the piece and the composer before reading the answer in its description.) I would like to hear your opinions about it, if you please. Thank you. :D
@@OphatTaerattanachai so youve never read about counterpoint and music theory???
@@erwinschulhoff4464 No. I have read a lot of them. I also give a lecture on Counterpoint, Music Theory, and Musical Form and Analysis at the university. Here are some recommendations, which I always use as the reference for my lecture. - Tonal Harmony with an Introdution to Twentieth-Century Music by Stefan Kostka and Dorothy Payne - Harmony in Context by Miguel A. Roig-Francoli - Harmonic Practice in Tonal Picture by Rober Gauldin There are more of them, but these are the good starting points to get into music theory and harmony. Also, some are in Thai language that I always recommend for my students to buy and read. They are easier to understand for them because they are in my native language.
It is very interesting to me that looking outwards, these pieces are entirely in theyre own world; having their own (harmonic) language and style. But looking inwards, the compositions are so various, so creative with its language, and most importantly they all feel at home within the set. I think that these pieces would be a great resource for compositional study, as the use of harmony and form is exemplary in my opinion. I think its important that the listener hears these pieces in relation with another, such that the distinctions can be made with the main theme which is clearly prevelant throughout all preceeding pieces. With this context, the listener can bring these individual pieces together, and appreciate the set as a whole. Also the descriptions match the music so well!! For instance, the pulses of light and the quintuplet figurations in the 9th are absolutely genius. There are so many other things, but this comment would be way too long!!
Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment because it is always constructive and helps me improve my music. This set is an adventure for me, compared to the other pieces I had composed during that period. I'm glad you also hear the relation between each piece, and how the main theme links every piece in the set together. That's what I like to do when working on a set or a suite. All in all, thanks a lot. Hope to see you around here again with my next compositions. :)
Not dreams exactly. . . If you are having dreams like this, you might want to stay awake.
Every main theme or motif of these pieces comes to me in my sleep and forces me to wake up at night. So, I planned to write down whatever I got or heard from my dream in the papers. The next morning, I looked into them and used them to compose these pieces. So, you're right that someone would be awake if you were having dreams like these. They really wake me up.
Nice!
Thanks a lot.
All the pieces would work well in one video I think, such that the listener is then able to compare and notice the connections between each piece much easier. This is all just a reccomendation of course. Your compositions are honestly ingenious but get very little recognition which i am slightly saddened by the fact
Thanks a lot for the recommendation. I don't know if that is okay, but I believe in your words. I'll make another video for the entire suite and get it in here later. Maybe, with the other complete sets on my channel, and for my later sets as well.

ที่จริงมันเป็นเพลงอินเดียที่ถูกเอามาใส่เนื้อร้องจีน พอเรียบเรียงออกมาแบบนี้ มันก็จะออกมาน่ารัก ๆ หน่อย
this piece is such a good use of the piano. the way you use incredibly dense and rich harmony to create such wispy effects is nothing short of remarkable. really amazing
Glad to see you around here, and long time no see. It’s my pleasure to hear such a lovely comment from you as always. Thank you so much.
@@OphatTaerattanachai i always listen to your pieces, i just don't comment as much lol, and i love hearing from you about my pieces too
Good ! It deserves a real piano.
Thank you so much. :D
Buena música, bien tocada y grabada.
