Earl and Blake kick off the 2024 Legislative Session with a rundown of what happens in the first week, what issues are rising to the top (as Republicans suggest a non-controversial year), and what you can expect from this year's podcast.
In Georgia the Lottery pays for the entire PreK program for 4 & 5 year olds throughout the state. No child is left behind. I was incredibly grateful for this when my teens were little and took full advantage of it. After school care was only a small fee also allowing me to continue working full time. Granted the programs and education were quite lacking. I opted to homeschool my little one who just started Kindergarten. I just went back to work now that she is 6. I didn't have that option when the teens were young because I worked so much. All 3 of them were in the 96th percentile when tested in Kindergarden. Keep up the good work and fight for Hoosier Families.
