Okay, there are a lot of corrections that need to be made about this. Infinite would actually beat King Boo, which even though it would be a good fight, Infinite would be able to easily beat King Boo in the end if he were to go all out. Here are a good handful of reasonings to prove this. Infinite was stated by Sega and Sonic Team themselves that Infinite is the most powerful enemy Sonic faced yet during the release of Sonic Forces. Before someone says, "Oh, bUt InFinITe DOesN'T HaVE aNy oF tHE FeATs tO PRovE ThAt" or "INfiNiTE wAs BeAtEn BY BaSE FoRM SoNiC AnD ThE RoOkiE" I want to have you all know that there is way more context to these "arguments" and how Infinite actually does have the feats to prove how he was the most powerful enemy Sonic has faced yet at the time of Sonic Forces. At the beginning of Sonic Forces, Infinite casually demolished Sonic with no difficulty, literally to the point where Sonic couldn't avoid the beatdown Infinite was giving him and couldn't even get up on his knees before falling unconscious, which Infinite was actually also so fast that Sonic couldn't even touch Infinite no matter how hard he tried. This is the same Sonic by the way who went through all of the events of video games that take place before Sonic Forces. One of them being, Sonic Generations, which Sonic was able to casually beat Perfect Chaos with low difficulty, which Perfect Chaos back in Sonic Adventure required Sonic to go Super Form in order to beat Perfect Chaos, which at first Super Sonic defeated Perfect Chaos with low difficulty easily, but when Perfect Chaos got back up and adapted and got more powerful, Perfect Chaos was actually able to give Super Sonic a high difficulty fight during Sonic Adventure, which once again, Sonic casually defeated Perfect Chaos with low difficulty in just Base Form during the events of Sonic Generations. Sonic also defeated a more powerful version of Eggman in the Egg Dragoon, which Eggman's Egg Dragoon was stated to be Eggman's greatest creation even all the way back during Sonic Unleashed, which would scale the Egg Dragoon higher than the Egg Wyvern, which was also stated to be Eggman's greatest creation at the time of Sonic 06, which makes the Egg Wyvern scale above the Egg Salamander and the Egg Wizard from Sonic Rush, which both required Super Sonic and Burning Blaze in order for them to achieve victory guaranteed with like mid-high difficulty, and would scale above the Super Death Egg Robot from Sonic Advanced, which was able to give Super Sonic a good fight. The power of Eggman's Egg Dragoon is furtherly proven in Sonic Unleashed during the opening cinematic cutscene to be Eggman's greatest creation over his previous mechs as Sonic needed to go Super Form in order to easily one shot Eggman's Egg Dragoon, which is a beyond more powerful version of Super Sonic than the Super Sonic in both Sonic Rush and Sonic Advanced as Sonic Unleashed takes place way after Sonic 06, which Sonic 06 takes place after Sonic Rush that takes place way far after Sonic Advanced. Which, Eggman in his Egg Dragoon during Sonic Generations is a more powerful and improved version of the Egg Dragoon, yet Sonic was still capable of defeating that same Eggman while in Base Form. Which, is the same Sonic that Infinite casually demolished with no difficulty the way he did, which Sonic actually at the beginning of Sonic Forces would actually be way more powerful than he was during Sonic Generations as Sonic: The Lost World takes place after Sonic Generations and before Sonic Forces, which Sonic was a little bit more powerful in Sonic: The Lost World than he was in Sonic Generations, which would mean Sonic even at the beginning of Sonic Forces would be more powerful than that given the time gap, which would furtherly prove Infinite's power as Infinite once again casually demolished that same Sonic with no difficulty the way he did at the beginning of Sonic Forces. Not to mention, Sonic naturally has Infinite Speed and casually has Inaccessible Speed as in Sonic Generations, both him and his Classic Sonic self can casually walk and travel through White Space, which was a realm where no time and space exists as the Time Eater erased all of Space-Time at the beginning of Sonic Generations, which Sonic and his classic self can also easily restore time and space itself that was erased with just their shere speed alone as stated by Tails and story descriptions, this is all done by Sonic and Classic Sonic while in Base Form, which that same Sonic who is way far more powerful than he was back in Sonic Generations couldn't even touch Infinite. Infinite is also effortlessly capable of creating Null Space with the power of the Phantom Ruby, which Null Space was undeniably stated even by Eggman himself to be a closed-off infinite-dimensional space where nothing exists, which this would scale Infinite to this degree effortlessly as the amount of power that the Phantom Ruby has to create Null Space is the same exact amount of power that Infinite is being empowered by. This easily proves Infinite being above any of Sonic's past enemies and opponents that he has faced before the events of Sonic Forces with just these feats alone. Not to mention, within the video game's narrative itself, Eggman himself stated that he was going to return all of the humiliation towards Sonic a thousandfold with his latest invention. Which, Eggman was implying that his latest invention is that much more powerful than his previous attempts to defeat Sonic, which Eggman was referring to Infinite. Also, in the original japanese translations, Eggman stated within that same line to be a trillionfold, meaning that Infinite according to the video game's narrative itself is a thousand to trillion times more powerful than anything Eggman used against Sonic before, which would include the Time Eater, which the Time Eater alone is just as powerful as Solaris as the Time Eater was capable of doing everything Solaris did and the Time Eater was about to do everything Solaris was about to do as well, which the Time Eater was stated to be even more powerful during the final boss of Sonic Generations as the Time Eater was allies with Eggman and Classic Eggman, which both Eggman and Classic Eggman used their combined technology to help draw out the Time Eater's true power. Which, Time Eater also fought a version of Super Sonic that is way far more powerful than the Super Sonic that Solaris fought in Sonic 06 along with Classic Sonic in his Super Form along with that. Infinite would scale above this from both the statement made by Sega and Sonic Team themselves and the statement made by Eggman himself within the narrative of Sonic Forces. Now about Sonic beating Infinite in Base Form, Sonic actually only had a stalemate against Infinite during their rematch due to Sonic not being powerful enough to put Infinite down and Infinite leaving Sonic due to Infinite finding Sonic weak and declaring that Sonic is not even worth his time since Sonic can't put him down, which that is the same Sonic that Infinite hinself stated that exceeded his previous data with Sonic stating himself that unlike mechs, he can grow and that he gets more powerful every second. Essentially, implying and stating that Sonic grew so much more powerful from the point when he first met Infinite to being able to stalemate Infinite during their rematch. Which, Sonic characters are consistently stated within some of the video games and also Sega themselves to grow more powerful as the series goes on, especially Sonic himself. Also, Infinite actually never lost to the rookie, not only is the rookie supposed to be very gifted and talented in Sonic Forces, but the rookie also had a Phantom Ruby Prototype, which is what allowed the rookie to be able battle Infinite and be able to be uneffected by Infinite's Phantom Ruby attacks. Even with that, Infinite had no problem casually pushing back the rookie with his physical strength and decided to let the rookie live as Infinite found killing the rookie meaningless as Infinite thought he was going to end everyone anyway. Which, by the way, Infinite does all this to get back everyone else and have them experience how he felt during his defeat against Shadow, which was the first time Infinite had been defeated in his entire life and was the first time Infinite felt fear and pity of himself. So with all of this in mind, the only reason Sonic and the rookie ended up beating Infinite in the end was because Sonic simply became so powerful to the point where he could beat Infinite as he would be doing most of the work since the rookie is not anywhere near Sonic's level.
