    We are strongly considering getting the new Wolf 36inch induction range. However, it pushes back all the way to the wall so that the back edge of the cooktop glass almost touches the wall. Usually there is a traditional vent riser at the back. Because of the lack of riser, should we expect to clean the back wall more often? Also, with a possible narrow 36 inch gap between the wall and the range, could you recommend something to fill the gap? Spills and accidents do happen. The trim piece link shows only up to 25 inches long.

      We have a tile back but haven’t had to clean it too often. But I’d imagine if you have any food splashes, perhaps? I got two of these gap fillers and the silicone one, I think #3, I suggested can be cut. So it fills the gap effectively by just splicing the two together.

      Unclear on your comment. Is that a subtle dig on our review? (Ie too much product promotion??)

    Thank you. Very helpful. I'm debating between the Wolf and the Thermador, and I appreciate seeing the cooktop in action, as well as the links to your accessories.

    Thanks for the overview. Very helpful indeed. I have been contemplating the Wolf stove or the Miele, and at this point the overall depth of cooking surface seems to have become the main differentiator. Note that I am restricted to the 30" and not the 36" unfortunately. Could you measure the glass area front to back from the rear edge of the metal strip to the front cooking slider controls, induction zone front to back and, more importantly, the distance between the centers? I have a 12" skillet which gets used quite a bit for our large family and on the 30", it seems I won't be able to fit anything behind the larger burner. Which of course on the 36", with the large burner in the center, isn't as much of an issue.

    • @neilbhay
      @neilbhay 6 місяців тому

      Sure. I hope I’m understanding what you want measured. Glass area front to back (rear edge of metal strip to front slider control) - 1.5 inch When you say metal strip I assume you mean where the clock and controls are. Left and right burner zone squares (edge to edge) - 8 inches Center burner zone square (edge to edge) - 11 inches. Distance between the center Left or right two burners -9 inches Side to center burner- 12 inches Hope that helps (and is what you were looking for!) Wish I could take a picture to be specific about what I’m measuring.

    More Anti-Etch has attracted the best stone restoration professionals in the country as certified installers. These guys don't put their names on stuff that doesn't work and they've seen it all.

    You made on argument on induction stoves in general. But I was hoping you would make an argument on why the "Wolf" brand which is double the price of over other induction stoves that can practically do the same thing.

      Good point. 😁Thanks for the feedback. While I can't make a comparative review with other induction stoves since I haven't tested out the other brands, I chose Wolf for three reasons: 1) Review ranking: This specific stove when included in comparative review that I researched, it always appeared at the top of every induction review list I was researching with no cons mentioned. Where as other induction stove reviews seemed to have one gotcha.. like a "This could be better on this induction stove" 2) Functionality: If I remember correctly, there was a review I read which seemed to indicate the contact zones for the magnetics worked better than the others in the review and the bridging capacity of multiple zones may be unique to Wolf (or a feature you won't find in lots of brands). 3) Brand dependability/quality: The only other part of my review that I think was missing when considering a 12k appliance was the ability to to determine it's dependability. As with any appliance, you don't want to dish out a lot of cash and have to deal with lots of maintenance issues and you hope with that quality you get many years out of it (which nowadays it seems rare that an appliance lasts 10 years). While I haven't had any significant issue (so far). the Wolf brand itself from what I researched seemed to be historically dependable across all it's appliances (not just induction). Here's a vendor review which may make the case you were looking for from why Wolf over others (which seemed consistent messaging in these comparative reviews): blog.yaleappliance.com/should-you-buy-a-wolf-induction-range

    Is the oven with this range similar to the wolf M series built-in oven?

    • @neilbhay
      @neilbhay 7 місяців тому

      I’m not a representative of Wolf and not as studied on their other products so can’t speak with absolute certainty but it appears to mirror the M series transitional in terms of features, like the Dual VertiFlow convection and the interior looks the same. This is the one that I’m seeing as most similar: www.subzero-wolf.com/wolf/ovens/m-series/30-inch-m-series-transitional-built-in-single-oven#

      @@neilbhay thank you. I just purchased this 30" M series for a new rental property. I also purchased the 30" induction cooktop for it (not the latest version since they didn't have when i made the purchase) I'm planning the renovation of my primary home and have been researching the 36" induction range that you have. I hope that Wolf does not have supply issues that they did have.

      Interestingly enough… I purchased mine from designerappliances.com (on the east coast). Originally they told me back in June it would arrive in November, but called me back after I made the purchase a week later saying they just received some in stock and had it installed shortly after. I would be prepared for supply chain issues, but you can be pleasantly surprised like I was.

    Are you still happy with your wolf induction range? Any issues?

    • @neilbhay
      @neilbhay 8 місяців тому

      Yeah. Still happy with it. No issues. We had one issue where it showed an error code on screen, but we resolved it by resetting the power by circuit breaker. Performance continues to be great and would never go back to a gas stove.

    I just got wolf 36” induction, nothing works like these videos I hope there is a technician whom is high tech enough to be able to fix it, oven works wonderfully except the beep volume is so low you nearly can hear it, the front is so big that is hard to work with the back burners and scratches very easily also the burners makes noise louder than oven, the one I got is different model

      I just saw your stove video on your channel. It appears you have the wolf 36” GAS stove. My stove in this video is an INDUCTION stove.

    • @neilbhay
      @neilbhay 8 місяців тому

      If you did buy the induction stove after that video on your channel, there is the manufacturer warranty which should get you a technician on the Wolf site. Or you can post your issue in these comments as someone else may have solved it.

      I got one and nothing works they way all these videos explain, big pot does not work, all burners including big one is good for small pot only, bridging between the two burners does not work, very disappointing, hopefully the technicians are trained enough to deal with hi tech appliances
