Ohio? Very nice build! I have a Desktrac repeater which is Maxtrac based that I am converting to P25 with the Repeater Builder board. One small modification to the exciter to do 9600 baud and it should be ready to go into service after doing the alignment for input and output levels.

Love the set up I go for my license next week and am very interested in dmr/d star and my area has no dmr or d star repeaters closest one is about 30 miles so I would like to build one and have it run at my house I know it may not be much but it certainly builds the network

What was the process for getting your d-star repeater registered ?

How did you switch those cdm radios to digital? Last time I looked they were analog

I have use Raspberry pi for quite some time now and never had the problem you have with unplugging it. Could be just the memory card going bad or the card reader malfunctioning. I have just switched from the small Raspberry pi to a full size PC running Ubuntu 20.04 desktop version. I also installed the Pi-Hole ad blocker on it. So far the internet is working better than off that Raspberry pi board. If you need some help with a computer question I am willing to help. I need some advice since you said in your video you would be willing to help anyone. I do not know if the information I have read is right. What I need to do is send my internet up to 70 miles to a family member that lives in Pennsylvania and I live in upstate NY. They live out in no mans land and have the worst internet speed. Maybe that is not even feasible and would ever work. I would like to try to help them by sending my fast cable speed to them. I can not even touch the 300 MB download speed I am getting. I enjoyed watching your video. Thank you for your help.

The ole dual mobile DIY repeater. I built IDK how many of those for commercial and GMRS. Anyways Out of curiosity, are you running the TX radio as the main PA or is it a driver for a separate continuous duty PA?.

You mentioned the R-Pi card having issues during power outages, etc. Look at application grade SD cards marked with A1 or A2. More reliable and intended for what you are doing with the Pi.

Cool video. I got to help a school in my area setup for an ISS contact. Learned a lot about satellite fundamentals. Also learned that an astronauts time is extremely valuable.

Can you please provide instructions on how to build it. I would love to duplicate what you have done.
