    ai is ai and human is human, there’ll be a market for ai music nd a market for human music. shit that’s alr generic like background music for some sync libraries will undoubtedly be dominated by AI since it’s already formulaic and bland on purpose. like u said there’s so many things humans can do that ai can’t account for, it might be able to replicate the sound but it’s just not doing the same shit lmao. unless ppl develop ai that can straight up use a DAW in its entirety. also the feeling comes from people putting in/doing whatever they like. the “emotion” in a chord doesn’t come from the chord itself being “emotional,” it comes from whatever you were feeling/experienced that lead up to you putting those notes together. it’s now put into those notes, because that’s what they manifested as. idk if that made sense but the same logic can apply to different mixing/mastering techniques. the things u feel/experience manifest as what you put together in the DAW once you let it flow out of you. and u might end up doing some shit that an industry level prod or composer on yt described as “the wrong way” b/c that’s how you felt.

    • @irielios
      @irielios 24 дні тому

      ik im yapping but really I don’t think there’s anything to worry about for artists. sure the market for AI music is growing, but the humans will always have their market, they’ll always be what AI is trying so hard to be but can’t. if they “lose to AI”, it’s because they were mediocre in the first place-they had nothing special or unique abt them that separated them from the rest of the pack, their work didn’t inspire any feelings or emotions, etc.

    • @thesoundation7706
      @thesoundation7706 24 дні тому

      What you said makes sense and there are definitely different wants that people express the emotion. It's crazy to think we let an industry decide what's right or wrong in terms of feeling based on techniques that they believe work on the masses. In some cases it might be true but it limits us I suppose from making us want to do those "wrong" things. But you are completely right and I appreciate you for even watching . :)

    • @irielios

    I like your perspective on making music in the morning. Another point you made in the video is you need structure which is true but try not to get to hyper focused on just that. Sometimes we get caught up in one thing in a mix we forget the vision you know. Try to have a big picture in your head and paint as much of it as you can in one sitting it might come out not sounding the way you want but that’s when you start mixing. Remember arrangement comes before mixing. Also try to use those panning knobs to the fullest extent, because when you start to throw compressors in the mix it will bring it all together in a way where sounds glue themselves together. One more thing if you change the view on your mixer from wide alt to a smaller view (I don’t remember the name) you can see a stereo separation knob which is very important alternatively you can use the stereo enhancer plugin. But yeah keep at it dog don’t get discouraged, and never call your shit trash it’s just not at the level you want it there are tons of people who can’t even make a chord on a daw. 👍🏾

    • @thesoundation7706
      @thesoundation7706 Місяць тому

      @Psalm4U I appreciate this comment. I'm going to pan and compress my next beat I work on. I do sometime lose the vision because I listen to something for too long. These videos are shorter than what I usually do lol. I think a lot of it is lost when I know I want movement Inna a certain sound and can't do it.

      You're right fr. When I was adding it I was second guessing it. I aint think anyone was finna watch it though. lmfao . i like how it sounds personally off my monitors. it hits different when i walk away becuz the sub waves travel slow and theyre long and the bass is crazier from further away. ik it causes phase but when added subtle it can create a a big difference. But ive only notived how trash it sounds when listening to it off my phone.

    • @4am446
      @4am446 Місяць тому

      @ yea man. You’re right to be experimenting tho. Because often when people get into production they learn all the stuff they “can’t” do and then never try it again and like. Some of the best producers get their cool sound from doing stuff “wrong” But for sub id say anything below 150 hz should be mono, me personally. I have anything above 100 slightly stereo and then below 100 like 100% mono, depending on the bass sound I used
