How frequently is the Donnington branch line used? I live near the Furrows/Wellington junction, and it always blows my mind to see anything on this line at all!
Not very often to be honest these days. We get this type of working dragging units and occasionally an MoD train as well. It's underused really. At the moment it's a storage site for the 197s. You have to look on a website call Realtime Trains to see if anything uses the branch line.

Those are the barrier wagons used for break force.

The chocolate 🍫 and cream colour train 🚊 is the first DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit. They were part of BR - British Rail until around perhaps 🤔 the year 1992, however it’s a long time 🕰️ ago now is over 30 previous years ago in 2023. Class 142058 is wearing the original NT - Northern Rail livery because it was no much longer staying with the operator. This is the same to the 2 car class 143013. All of the pacer trains 🚊 have toilets 🚽. It’s nice 👌 to see the pacer trains 🚊 used for preserved railways 🚃 🚆. Of course, all pacer trains 🚊 have standard class accommodation only which means they are second class. The first generation DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit trains 🚆 have the staff and passenger doors 🚪 🚪 🚪 are slam door 🚪 trains 🚊 which are highly unsafe because they are vulnerable to the little children 🧒 👧 👧 👦 🧒 who might draw ✍️ attention to themselves by touching the doors 🚪 and slam door 🚪 trains 🚊 can’t be trusted like 👍 the electric ⚡️ doors 🚪. The ride and/or journey on the railways 🚃 🚆 are very good 👍 and makes people 👩🦰 🧑🦰 👱♂️ 🧑🦳 🧔♀️ 🧔♂️ 🧔 👱♀️ highly happy 😊. Preserved railways 🚃 🚆 have a single railway 🚃 track, where a multiple track is a passing loop 🔂 to allow the other train 🚊 to go past the train 🚊 so they are not in each others way. The tickets 🎫 🎟️ on the preserved railway 🚃 line is different because it’s not part of BR - British Rail. Preserved railways 🚃 🚆 runs on certain dates in the year where they definitely 👍 💯 run 🏃 in the high peak summer 😎 ☀️ 🌞 ⛅️ season in July and August because it’s the school 🏫 holidays. In the autumn 🍂 and winter 🥶 ❄️ , if trains 🚊 run 🏃♂️ in these seasons, there is probably a limited skeleton 🩻 steam and preserved train 🚊 service. In the spring 🌻 🪻 🌺 🌼 🌸 🪷 🌹 🥀 🌷 💐 season, I am sure 👌 ✔️ ☑️ that there are preserved train 🚊 services run 🏃 on these dates between March and June per year. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@jacobporrett Anytime. Am headed to London tomorrow, but it's a trip with people from college so any photos/videos will be limited. There will be train journeys though, me and the college folks will be using the London Underground to get to various parts of the city.
