Did you ever do a full writeup on your Facebook page? What is your page?
How much. I always wanted one ? Plz let me know if you sell them
I don't make them anymore personally but info@arachnidfx.com have the molds and take the occasional commission for them
@@kwalsh000 really he does and how much are they?
@@kwalsh000 I always wanted one since I was a child
Do you sell them?
William , now this is a furry costume I can get behind 😂
Awesome!!
I guess , now you understand why there has never been a full silicone suit in any film or TV show. Silicone is simply too heavy , and in the case of a werewolf, Foamed Latex is THE way to go. A Werewolf has never required the translucency of Silicone .It's like you are trying to reinvent the wheel here by doing a whole suit in silicone.
Oh I know exactly why they are done in foam latex. I own 2 original foam latex lycans and work in the industry aswell as have many friends who do...but why do it in foam latex when I want a piece I can throw into a flight case..put on a mannequin...take off and wear then put again in storage and so on. A foam latex suit is just not as durable. Is it heavy? Yes. Can I wear it? Well 4 to 6 hours at a time in Atlanta heat on stilts proves I can. Just because others can't is not my problem. This was a personal project with a specific outcome required.
@@kwalsh000 Latex and Polyfoam would last forever, and you can make the head out of the same, since there is no movement. Silicone should only be used when translucency is required. Again there is reason why foam was used. So switch to latex backed with polyfoam, Silicone in a suit form, would never last as long as that would , and it will look identical. Let me add that there is no way that someone with your defensive attitude works in the film industry. Maybe if Steve Wang , himself , told you this, you would listen..
@@Valkonnen do you mean latex backed with polyurethane foam or..foam latex. They are very different and you said foamed latex in your initial reply and then foam backed latex in your last one. Latex backed with foam would last longer but having worn latex suits I don't find them as good for fit and movement plus they tend to stiffen in cold weather when stored and not be as durable as silicone. My 'defensive' response was just mirroring your approach of 'now you understand why' approach of talking down to me in your first reply among your other assumptions about the reason I made it this way. End of day. I made it this way because I wanted to. 5 years on its been on multiple flights..stuffed in cases..displayed..worn in snow and heat and still exactly like the first time it was made. Paint and all. Latex or foam latex..wouldn't be
@@Valkonnen also..ever see all those older latex masks crumbling or frozen solid with age due to improper storage? Contradicts your..last for ever comment. Even foam latex lycans I own are crumbling in certain areas after proper care.
@@kwalsh000 I have appliances that are 35 years old, and latex masks that I have made that are that old as well. As long as you keep them covered, and get no UV rays, they stay perfect. I'm not talking about "Improper Storage" of course. There is a reason why no professional has ever used silicone for a full suit in a film. We have developed ways around this if Silicone is called for . In the case of a full figure, which had to be translucent, Appliances are made by adding a skin of silicone, and backing that with a soft polyfoam, which would give the same translucence. In the case of a werewolf, and actually directly copying those for a particular film where it needs no translucence in the flesh, you are using a material which is too heavy and uncomfortable, tears easily from movement, even when embedded with netting, and is just not the right material. I have picked Steve Wang's brain on numerous occasions about these suits specifically. You can't get better than state of the art, even when you have the material du jour to use.
Can you send me
Are those Lycan heads the original animatronics from the films? Or are they replicas?
Is that William? Btw if I was to get one how much would it cost
How much did it cost you
Can I buy this costume please????? I need it 🥺🥺🥺
If you have 10k sure hehe
That's a sick collection!!! Love it

How did you build the suit? I'm planning to build a big monster suit, can you give me some help or tutorial?
That's so cool! You did an AMAZING job! I was at Dragoncon then. Wish I hadn't missed it! Underworld is one of my favorite movies series!
Cheers! Once events are back on we will be back..with more Lycans at Dcon!
@@kwalsh000 That's so awesome to hear! I've been going to Dragoncon for years. I hope 2021 is safe to have it! I can't wait to see your Lycans! I've thought of cosplaying Selene or Sonja there. I do lots of cosplays and have been adding more Vampires cosplays to my ever growing collection.
@@Nightengale90 do it :) there are alot of Selenes but no Sonya :) can't wait for it to start again aswell..we had 2 back to back visits before Covid kicked in and we quickly became addicted and try travel from Ireland every time

Awesome how much$$$$ ?
Email info@arachnidfx.com
I like better first lycan costumes.. that is in 2003 and 2006 movies... they look more real
Where do I buy one
Email info@arachnidfx.com
I want this! Price?
Thanks. Pop us an email. Info@arachnidfx.com . It would not be cheap
That is amazing
Woah
Thanks :)
@@kwalsh000 how heavy is the costume?
@@MagsTerrave that version inc stilts is approx 100lbs.ive made 3 versions . Each a bit lighter
Interesting idea. With some more features, like an external structure to get a better proportion with that height, and longer arms (with some remote control of the claws, which is pretty easy) this can be a seriously good result for a private costume. The artistic work on that is just incredible, so realistic.
Thanks :). I was working off a dodgy core and first full creature suit, first wed clay sculpt and first silicone piece. Would love to revisit it properly in the future. Suit weighs 100lbs so wanted to keep any extra weight off. Either way i can def see ways i want to improve it
Its a bit too muscular but its cool either way
If it weren't for Haruo Nakajima there wouldn't be any rubber suit actors.
It's adorable without the stilts!
Ha and alot easier to walk in
Where is the Other Half of the Video, all I here is the Music Track..??
Mast pic.
How much to have one commissioned not of William but of lucain the leader the lycanthropes
Looks good, reminds me of Bad Moon werewolf version
Thanks. Do you have links..would like to see theirs
Not gonna lie but I loved bad moons version of the werewolf practical effects were top notch
Such a badass costume. Love William!!
Take my money damn it
Gladly :) lol. Check us out on Facebook at ArachnidFX or Brenachs Props :)
I wish they would get more creative with the texture of the fur. Werewolves always look so raggedy with the exception of van helsimg
Super rad
can i pay you to make me one?
Of course! Check out ArachnidFX or BrenachsProps on facebook
Can I pay you to make me one lol
Also thinkin of doing a lycan build for 2019 ...
Do it, you won't regret it :)
Please check out. Terminator costume 2.0 My last build .. Thanks fellow builders
William, is that you?
How hot does it get in that suit?
Too hot. You could do 2 to 3 hours max..anymore and heatstroke is a risk. Its 100lbs
But this was badass
If I did one of these ID make it black with red eyes
We do sell raw casts so you can paint it like that ;)
Awesome! I'd love to see you do one of the Van Helsing werewolves
Where can I buy this?
Blake Gable you should walk through woods in the costume howling just to scare people
Primal Werewolf that's my plan I just got to find someone to take my money to make this suit
Can this be purchased? If you made this yourself, are there any tutorials on making it?
