Queen Camilla is The Queen whether you like it or not.

There was no legal precedent for Queen Camilla to be a Princess Consort and there was no legal precedent to create the title either. Under English Common Law, the wife of a reigning King is a Queen Consort.

@matthewmacpherson5071 Prince Philip was the precedent. He was a Royal Prince and had to renounce his title to Marry Elizabeth. Camilla should have been Princess Consort, but the late Queen was generous.

The British Constitutional Affairs told Charles and Camilla that there was no legal precedent for the wife of a King to be a Princess Consort and there was no legal precedent in creating the title either. Prince Philip wasn’t a King because if he had been he would have outranked Queen Elizabeth II and she was the Monarch. The Monarch’s spouse is always one rank lower than The Monarch themselves.

​@@carolyncoulter4116 although Prince Philip was a descendant of Queen Victoria he was not a British Prince he gave up his Greek and Danish titles as at the time it was not politically convenient for him to keep them or his very German sounding House name. The husbands of Queen Anne and Queen Victoria however kept their foreign Princely titles. Though Queen Anne's husband had been made Duke of Cumberland at the time of their marriage and Victoria's was eventually given the official title of Prince Consort.

Queen Camilla very much is a Queen and more importantly she is The Queen. She was crowned Queen on May 6th, 2023 alongside The King during their joint coronation. And seeing as how Queen Elizabeth II’s will was never released to the public and was immediately sealed upon her death, you couldn’t possibly know what was in it or what wasn’t in it.

Queen Elizabeth II’s wishes were honoured. Queen Elizabeth II expressed her sincere wishes for Camilla to be a Queen Consort and those wishes were honoured because Queen Camilla is a Queen Consort. A Queen Consort is Her Majesty The Queen or Her Majesty Queen and her name, regardless of her birth.

The Queen's wishes were not honoured. Charles dropped the Consort part. Her title is Queen.

And when King C dies she will be the Queen Dower.

You obviously do not understand about queens and think they are all like Elizabeth II who was a rarity in the United Kingdom being Queen Regnant, that is the ruler. The majority of queens were queens consort, that is they did not rule but were queens by virtue of being the wife of their king. Queens regnant were Elizabeth II, Victoria, Anne and Elizabeth I. All other queens were consorts and this includes Queen Camilla and will include Queen Catherine. The next possible queen regnant could be Queen Charlotte if George has no children.

There was also Mary I of England, Mary I of Scots, Mary II of England, Scotland and Ireland, Margaret Queen of Scots plus 2 disputed Queens regnant of England- Jane and Matilda
