Man I’m having the same problem at home which I can totally sense that one of them is faulty the one in my sister’s room is becuz there getting worse and they been going off everyday now and my dad won’t fix it so we just have to keep dealing with it and no peace and quiet in the house for us becuz of it!

I noticed there was some paint on the trim plate and the smoke detector if you didn't put a cover over the smoke detector or take it down before painting it very well could have gotten paint in the sensor which is why these say "Do Not Paint" on each unit.

I purchased a Maytag washer in about 1984 and it was perfect. Completed a full load in about 20 minutes on normal. It wasn't noisy. I was forced to replace it in 2014 because parts were no longer available. Then got a top of the line front load Electrolux and hated it. Nothing felt clean any more. It lasted the 10 years as required by law which provides that every washer come with a 10 year guarantee on the motor. Then it became more expensive to fix than to replace. So a couple of weeks ago we went back to a top load Maytag because we were nostalgic for clean clothes, speedily completed. Remarkably, it doesn't come with a real manual that tells you what the features are. Presently my husband is downstairs washing a load while I'm trying to find some insight into how to use the various features. It remains to be seen whether my clothes get clean, but it's damn noisy and taking too long. In the end, even if we're satisfied with the way this washes, the experience of purchasing it and then discovering that there's no physical manual was a bummer. (I can't believe I'm sitting here watching a video of a washer spin through its cycles!)

I believe this thing is the same as the Mainstays branded version of these. I have the Mainstays version of it in this finish and it’s quite loud and isn’t too great at pushing air. I mean it does blow an ok amount of air but eh I prefer other brands such as Lasko

I’ve always been terrified of these as a kid. We had these exact models and I remember I was so traumatized from the loudness I couldn’t sleep without headphones or plugging my ears because I was worried it would sound off, I’ve had nightmares about them 😂

Another crappy machine. Takes 20 minutes just to get started, and there is hardly any rollover. Machine is loud, with electric buzzing noise. 15 minutes just fooling around sensing water level before actually washing. Can't see how laundry would be really clean.

Could heavens it sounds like thin, metal hitting thin metal. And they charge a fortune for this. I would rather have a refurbished oldie than this in a heartbeat.

Yo, I have a Whirlpool WTW6120HC3 & I’ve bought a Maytag Pet Pro Agipeller months ago & have recently got it installed into the Machine! So, now I have a Custom Whirlpool Pet Pro Machine that Whirlpool hasn’t even made yet! Basically, now both you & I have a Washer with the Maytag Pet Pro Agipeller!

My wife wants me to get rid of our used 80 series kenmore set I bought from a. Used appliance store that’s been with us for 3 years no issues whatsoever and she wants a Samsung set hell no !!

These companies just love ripping off us the consumer. I just don't understand how they can get away with this shit. Can you imagine how many people are clueless as to how this works, I'm sorry, how this doesn't work. And the time wasted waiting for it to complete a cycle. It's fucking sad..

The pet pro mode is a complete joke. It just adds time to the already long cycle. You get the same results turning it off.

Please somebody tell me how in the world these machines are better than the ones that actually had great turnover and short cycle times ? Whirlpool should have a class action lawsuit against them for these garbage machines. I mean no disrespect to the owner. I had one of their wash plate “Maytag” machines back in 2011. I like this company but they are passing off garbage now. The best still decent washers from this company would be the Maytag commercial MVWP586GW or Whirlpool commercial CAE2795FQ non vended model. You can probably still get Whirlpool WTW4816FW available at Lowe’s.

I think you missunderstood the warranty GE offers. The 10 year warranty is on the motor only, and parts only. So anything else only has 1 year standard warranty (control boards, transmission components, suspension, bearings, etc.).

Mine has a normal agitator and the water fills on the left side not in the back like this one. Mine will be thirty years old still running like new. 73

Wow, GE used to build great washers. Impressive spin speed, but the rest is not good at all.

I hated this washer until i upgraded it with the corkscrew agitator. Then i was ok.

Wait....isn't the fan supposed to be blowing air toward the outside? The blade is turning counter-clockwise which means it's sucking air into the unit.

Rare early 60’s model with a Recip!! Most of these used rotary compressors. This may even be late 50’s.

Anyone know what the code “EL OC “ mean? Mine keeps turning off after 20min. Disassembled and cleaned. Filters clean. Drain pipe good to go. Still I get those error codes.

I think theese fans are relatively okay, i would still prefer the iconic 3733. My dad found 2 of theese in the trash. One of them beoke but he gave the other one to me. I DEEP cleaned it. I loved the sound it made but my friends lasko WindMachine cord broke i gave it to them. I think theyre okay fans! They are a good fan for sleep too!
