Hi! I’m getting an electric guitar for Christmas and I’m just struggling on the whole amp side of it. Have you got any suggestions and are you using one in this video? Thank you :)
heyy!! i’m using the marshall MG10G 10W combo amplifier!! so what combo means is that there’s both clean and distorted sound! distorted sound can be used for maybe more rock or grungy songs but if you ask me, i think just getting an amp with a clean setting will be enough for a beginner. and i think if you’re just planning to play in your room or maybe with afew friends 10W would be good! 10W stands for 10 watts which basically means how loud your amp will be. the more watts means it can go louder also, i think it’s a good idea to get a cheaper second hand amp at first!! if you look online there’s lots of good deals!! i started off with a $20 amplifier and i used that for about a year before upgrading. if you’re on a budget you can look into that too!! i hope this helps!! i know how confusing it can be to buy an electric guitar HAHAHA

ooo actually it can go quite quiet!! and most amps actually have a little headphone jack so you can plug in your headphones or earpiece and play at night!! i had the same issue too when i first started playing HAHHA but just know that an electric guitar makes some noise too even when not plugged in! it’s definitely not noticeable during the day but if you’re playing maybe like rock or something with a harder strumming/picking, the people in the same room as you can definitely hear abit

heyy! it’s a squier bullet hardtail stratocaster! and as for the colour it’s in sonic grey if i remember correctly, but i’m pretty sure the squier bullet line has been discontinued and replaced with the squier sonic line 💔💔 it’s almost the exact same thing but it’s a tad pricier!
