Shot with a then local photographer in the community that shot a very unique style. This individual inspired my style that I began developing in fine art photography.

This was promo for a release of an album. This video was recorded at a live venue.

I had originally inquired to this DJ couple to see if they wanted to shoot some photos and video. This was not rehearsed or staged, only planned. All footage consisted of candid shots in this particular video.

This was a last minute invitation from a performer. After attending the event for the full day here is the video that was produced. It was a collaborative video by myself representing a San Jose DJ group known as Funk Lab.

My own background as a creative shooting video started off with a series of photojournalism. I would initially do write ups of artists from various mediums. Eventually I’d go end up doing published work for a local newspaper, a number of local magazines, nonprofits, and even work for social justice groups as a freelancer. This is one of the roughest but also the first video a I’d ever produced ...

After deciding to shift away from freelance work in photography I dabbled for a few years in local events. Eventually I would put the camera down to do more hands on from working as a stage hand, AV sound person. I’d eventually conclude as a Call Stewart before moving away from this completely.

The very first of this particular series. I began making these while staying with my father. These are all sequentially inspired by my upbringing as well as the exposure throughout my childhood to various films, music, and culture.

Nearly a five year project that I just didn't have the capacity for. After proactively making lifestyle changes. The best part is that I can say this project is finally done. Although it isn't quite the original concept it was something that is a significant part of time. (Another video shared on social media but cut down due to the duration of the video)
