Using an eraser seemed to work best for me, but there were still a couple marks I just couldn’t get out, so I followed another viewers advice and used to mild sandpaper in a circular motion that seemed to get the rest of it off. I didn’t like doing that but it seemed easier than replacing the floor planks, after trying the other four methods and just not being able to remove all of it?

Open shelves are magnets for dust

We are going to do a softer remodel of our kitchen this year. I HATE our island with the sink in it, it makes our kitchen too small and our dining room more cramped with the chairs pulled out when we have company. What I’m planning is taking off about 7 in one end of the island to make the pass through bigger, removing the 7 in bump up the island has on the dining room and making the island flat actually extending it out 4-5 ft, getting rid of the table and just using the island. We’re going to remove the carped in the living area and dining area, replacing it with LVP. I’m toying with the idea of putting the island on casters so we can pull it out when we have more people over but if we do that I can’t put storage or drawers in it…ugh, decisions. The thing I am most excited about is getting rid of the ceramic tile countertops and backsplash! I would LOVE to move the sink to the wall but we have a finished basement and that would require at least double, even triple what we want to spend.
