Next to the run arrow, on the left what do you see?

Press the three dots, add configuration, look for maven then click ok, you should be good to go!

so if you are aware I am currently making a spigot development series, There is a proxy manager for minecraft servers called Velocity, which also have plugins, and it is completely different to spigot, and I plan on doing a seperate series for it, since it is complicated

@@EnderSlain And thanks alot for teaching me that the IntelliJ Minecraft plugin adds a new project creation option, at first I tried to do it manually by setting a Java & Gradle project

@@steelcock It is possible without the IntelliJ with just gradle or maven and Java, just just have to manually add the depencies in the the depencies part, the plugin just automates it, and makes your life easier
