So many reactors fail to notice "Around the World." There was even a reactor who complained because they left out his favorite song, "Around the World." True, they didn't feature it, but they paid homage. I'm so glad you noticed!

Perfect-atonix 😁. Everything they create is phenomenal. Love Again is one of my favorite originals. You might like their Evolution of Michael Jackson. It’s done in one take. For their “evolution” vids, they recorded 5 versions and then picked the best one.

Showing it in black and white was an interesting choice. I've seen the original video dozens of times, but I liked the black and white. The fact that you really know Daft Punk made your analysis excellent. A lot of reactors don't pick up on "Around the World" being sung in the background. As a keyboardist/ vocalist/ home recording enthusiast, I understand exactly where you’re coming from. PTX’s compositions and arrangements are so flawless (not to mention their execution of the performances) that you become enveloped by the sound, rather than listening as an outsider. This link to an article where Jimmy Bates, head of FifGen Films, gives the actual backstory of the production of this video. They had to overcome issues with the original plan and quickly make numerous adjustments that turned out better than the original plan would have done. You may want to check out PTX's original (and amazing ) EDM song 'Love Again' , written by Avi and Kevin. They rarely , if ever, perform it any more because the Mongolian throat singing Kevin used was damaging his voice . Remember it was also filmed in a kitchen recorded in a closet. If you want to react to a roll of course you want to react to a song like Daft Punk but I'm pretty sure it's dubstep react to love again that is also an original song. I completely understood what you were saying. Pentatonix works very very hard so they deserve all the accolades. Two summers ago they got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They did the national anthem at the college bowl World Series. That's football American football. Since it's Christmas time next up should be Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy which one them their second Grammy I forgot to mention they had to change the name of a category so that Pentatonix would be able to be put into a category. It was called best instrumental or arrangement and then they added acapella. As a music producer you would very much enjoy the video the making of evergreen. That's where they were working on their Christmas album for that year and they invited the cameras into their practice / recording studio. There's also a green room performance pretty sure for Make-A-Wish and they're doing Daft Punk live right there in the green room. Please add the other acapella groups into your rotation. There's Home Free and the bass gang and voice play. For Home Free most people start with Man of Constant Sorrow. Voice play has nothing else matters in the air tonight Seven Nation Army yada yada yada. You'd really appreciate them because they do all their producing Arrangement mixing they do it all themselves. So glad you finally got to hear this masterpiece! And thank you for the suggestion to listen to Daft Punk's Touch. I hadn't heard that one in ages and it was a blast from my past. I'd listen to Daft Punk regularly when I'd be dancing in SF in the late 80s early 90s. My son, now 27, collected all their albums on vinyl, making this momma very proud. 🥰
