I would instead call this "bouncy chair fun partial squat because I don't like that doing regular full ROM squats where I intentionally control the eccentric and descend until I feel a painful stretch in my quads"
Initial force production on the box jump with force absorption on the landing. For the depth drop its absorbing force on a single leg, which helps with asymmetries.
@@theathleteacademy5180 idk man it just looks bad. It reminds me of when im doing something similar to this and I feel like a cord in my shoulder tears apart
Great Video and Information Cody!!! My LB coaches at Wesley preached "COD" change of direction and Body Lean constantly!! We drilled lateral as well as vertical movement all the time.

@@androssAES if you do enough yeah
@@Zamic- do what enough? You mean add more weight? I mean yeah that would make it harder if thats what you meant lol
@@androssAES yeah lol
I go there
Sup
This looks very difficult!
its not lol u just gotta get the a skip down first and then add a lateral movement to it
it's a bit tricky to get the movements down. But once you do it becomes easy.
I just learned it it in 10 seconds just give it a go and you will realise its not that hard
I already know how to do it😂
Just use dumbbells
what muscle are u working?
lateral/front delt i believe
@@alaskuz3136 just do lateral raises
@@Plxsma_7 why would you do lateral raises to improve scapular stabilization??
Does this actually help with shoulder injuries
I think it’s actually really bad for your shoulders
Absolutely! This is a great way to reduce any bilateral deficiencies of the shoulder!
@@randomstuffiguess957 please elaborate? This is a great movement to improve scapular stability

There is no need to lock the elbows everytime, but work on the steadiness of your elbows, doing good.
Thank you so much
