    Not surprised by that accident at all, was actually expecting something much worse. Saw my Unisaw throw a 1/2” piece of Baltic Birch plywood (~8”x10”) out the open garage door at my shop. Found it sitting in the driveway nearly 60’ away. That made me curious, so I sat down and calculated the speed which the carbide tips were traveling on that saw, and came up with something like around 128 MPH.

      @@CopiWood because of how you didn’t use a rail on your slider to brace that wood against, then it looked like you started to reach for the block of wood while it was sitting on the blade/before the teeth were able to grab it and throw it. But I am sure that you will say that not using a rail is quite normal.

    • @CopiWood
      @CopiWood Рік тому

      First of all i didnt try to reach it. It just seems like i tried because the piece of wood broke in my hand and i twitched but my hand was safely out of reach of a sawblade. And second you never use rail on small pices, because its way more dangerous.

      Thank you. i used laser engraver. You sould not use laser to cut vinyl because it produces toxic fumes, i tried just this one time. You could try with forstner bit or with router by using template.
