Still completely upset with how this show ended. Jao and Mikay/Areeyah was so meant to be!! He loved her as Commoner Mikay and loved and guide her when she became Princess Areeyah. It was all there! Their history, they're dynamic relationship, how they met, separated, and met again. How they fell for each other and the advice and comfort they always gave each other when times got rough. The stargazing, the orgamis he gave her, their promises to each other and for their country. All the elements of an amazing love story was there only to be completely ruined in the last couple months of the show. She still loved and cared for him..even admitted to it..she loved him so much, but because of the misunderstandings and their families..she had to move on..(when we all know she didn't..) her moving on with Gino was laughable..never did she declared her love for him..she never looked at him the way she looked at Jao. I just felt so bad....that title is for Jao "The Princess and I" and yet he doesn't get to be her.
