You've fixed my one major complaint with the album, Year of the Cup is the only track I ever skip when listening through the album. It's a shame, because I love the Nurture-esque instrumental and Porter's verses, I just can't stand the Lil Wayne interview excerpts. I can see what Porter was going for and I appreciate the message, but it just doesn't work for me. I'd previously opted for the version on UA-cam that filters out the talking, but that leaves long segments of somewhat samey instrumental breaks, which feels a bit awkward in my opinion. Your edit is the perfect substitute, the vocal chops fit the song and the vibe of SMILE :D nicely. I'll definitely be returning to this video when I want to listen to Year of the Cup from now on. Great work!
