Quel beau souvenir des années 50. Le dimanche toute la famille (8 enfants) se réunissait autour du piano, maman jouait cette pièce et bien d'autres chansons de folklore québecois. Moi, j'étais très jeune (6-7 ans) , c'était ma chanson préférée. Je savais les paroles par coeur, je chantais très juste avec ma voix d'enfant. Lorsque je chantais, je m'imaginais voir mon gr-père labourant son champs, la charrue tirée par un énorme cheval. C'est exactement cet accompagnement que maman interprétait au piano. 70 ans plus tard, j'ai encore les larmes qui me montent aux yeux en écoutant ce chant.

I looked and looked for the best piano accompaniment of this piece to practice and maybe even perform with. This is the best. Great recording, great touch, great dynamics, great tempo. Thank you!

You played it also in a right tempo. I love when proffesionel artists play for others. I love this song so much that I will try also play accompaniment by myself. Almost always I want to listen to the piece when someone else plays at first. On the imslp not all the pieces are recorded/synthesized. May I have a question?
