Quel beau souvenir des années 50. Le dimanche toute la famille (8 enfants) se réunissait autour du piano, maman jouait cette pièce et bien d'autres chansons de folklore québecois. Moi, j'étais très jeune (6-7 ans) , c'était ma chanson préférée. Je savais les paroles par coeur, je chantais très juste avec ma voix d'enfant. Lorsque je chantais, je m'imaginais voir mon gr-père labourant son champs, la charrue tirée par un énorme cheval. C'est exactement cet accompagnement que maman interprétait au piano. 70 ans plus tard, j'ai encore les larmes qui me montent aux yeux en écoutant ce chant.
