Nice organization and haul!!
Thank you, ma’am! 😃
I love your organization. I don't have as many little bubbles & little ephemera. I have some of the multiple round containers. Where did you get the case for them? I have miscellaneous containers and I can no longer get all of them into the drawer. I only started a little more than a year ago and I'm currently working on the kitchen table. EDIT I have 2 female black cats. Unfortunately, they don't get along so I may have to give one away. Another EDIT. Have you tried going thru Ko-Fi? I don't sell anything but they are very good at answer questions and helping you.
Thank you. I ordered the little container that come in the case from Amazon. I have not tried ko-fi. I will have to look into that. We are a one cat at a time family. So ours gets so spoiled and thinks she rules the house. 😂
Ebony is adorable, I have a Winifred that looks just like her. Fun stuff from Temu!
Thank you. She can be a mess but we love her dearly.
Gorgeous pieces, thank you for sharing!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Hello...Just stopping by Carrie the Paper Monkey suggested for us to check your channel out. I have only bought one jar in all of my thrifting but watching you show off your treasures makes me want to be on the look out for a jar. I will be checking back to see more.
Yay! Welcome. I hope you find inspiration in my channel. It’s really fun to find these jars and get all the treasures hiding in there. 💖
Literally watching this while I make clusters :)
Oh cool! Turn on your recorder and let us see! 😁

Nice collection you have Ami, thanks for sharing your beautiful finds. Ebony is a beautiful kitty. A couple of months back, we acquired (from a neighbor that was moving to a place where they couldn't have inside pets) a beautiful Seal Point Tabby, she's Siamese mixed with a Tabby cat, gorgeous blue eyes. Thanks again for sharing everything, your singing as well. Surely UA-cam can't have a problem with that. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Thank you. Ebony has a huge personality. We love her so much. What a blessing for you to have a wonderful cat. I often sing while I work. Just wanted to share a bit of that. 🎶😊
This was a great watch! TYFS❤
Yay! Thanks for tuning in. 😃
I really enjoyed this video! I also have a collection of costume jewelry, and need to look through them again to use in my junk journals. You have inspired me! Wish I had bought some of these jars when I saw them, it was fun looking through your collection, thank you 👑
Awesome! Glad to be an inspiration. 😄 Thanks for watching.
LOVE this video and your ideas. I would love to see how you use some of them in your journals.
Thanks. I can definitely do that. I like to tear them out so the background is also included in the cluster.
Amazing cluster book so unique ❤
Thanks!
@@AmiRuth_Treasures your welcome
I really enjoyed this video and particularly your 1234 story. It's a beautiful thing that you do.
Thank you for commenting. I’m glad you enjoyed watching. ☺️
👍- I vote for more likes👍- Great idea - for many types of ephemera. wen
Thank you. 🥰
Those stick pages may be too sticky for easy removal.
I’m going to try it out and see. I have the little pokey tool to pull up the corners. I didn’t put any recipes in it that I thought were too brittle.
Hello Ami, I pray that you and yours are all doing well. This was interesting seeing the old recipes and such. I'd be very careful using those old type photo album sheets to put anything in. I know this for a fact, because my daughter wanted copies of some pictures that I had in those type of photo albums (all that was available at that time) and I've had to carefully remove the pictures she wanted copies of with a hair dryer on low heat. The clear plastic top of those album pages were not staying closed anymore, but everything else was stuck. I hope that hasn't happened to your sticker collection you showed. Lastly, I'd say that those photo albums I had were early to mid 1970's. Hope this is helpful to you and others. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The newer albums are supposed to be acid free and in my experience the pages lose their stickiness over time rather than becoming stickier. I hope you enjoyed the video. 😊
TYFS❤
Yw! Thanks for watching! 😄
Love this idea!
Yay! I’m thinking I will definitely be able to do more these recipes now that I can see them. Hope you find it helpful. TFW! 😄
😍 great idea for storage. ❤
Thank you! It’s nice to see it all at a glance instead of stuffed in a box somewhere. 😄
What cute kitty Ebony is❤ I love the security envelope and the stitching around the design, great idea for junk envelopes! TFS😊
Thanks! Yes, Ebony is cute and curious! 🥰
❤❤❤ slow stitch journal cover 😊❤
That sounds like a cool idea! I’ll have to look into it. 😃

Thanks for stopping by! 😃
What an amazing find!
Thank you! 💖
What?! That's soooo cool!! I had no idea those beautiful fabric pieces were in those rugs!! I have a place thats local that has piles and piles of these that are new for sale. And they're cheap! I know where I'm heading soon! Thanks for showing this ❤
Absolutely my pleasure. I got this idea from another UA-camr years ago and have been looking for one since. I can’t find that original video, but there are several others, I’m sure. 😃
I would guess that the pattern is from fading and the lines are from the threads holding it together. I often thought about doing this. Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow! I never even thought about that pattern coming from the parts exposed to the sun. That makes complete sense! Thanks for pointing that out. And thanks for watching. 😄
Nice haul! I got a package today, too.
Thanks. They really are fun to dig into. I usually forget what I ordered, so it’s usually a nice surprise! 😂
I've been looking for one to do this. So fun!
I’ve seen other’s videos with really great fabric. Many say they got them from a store called Five Below. I hope you find one!
It looks like that section of fabric was in the sun and faded. What fun! I never thought about taking the rug apart.
Yeah, it does look that way. I honestly thought more of them would be that way, but most of the fabrics are bright!
Looks awesome I love butterflies
Thank you! 🥰
Awesome great job
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it.
I do the exact same thing with the patterns I find. I mean when they are falling apart what else do you use them for? But I love fussy cutting them. The oldest I have found is 40s
Nice! And you’re right! Some of them are beyond repair. It’s great that we do the same thing.
A trip down memory lane - I grew up using these! Mum taught us to sew and we got sewing machines for our 21st birthdays back in the 70s. Lovely to see them being repurposed.
What am amazing gift for your birthday! My mom also taught me how to sew when I needed maternity clothes, at age 21. I’m glad you enjoyed my video. TFW. 🥰
I've gotten several new ideas from this series. I never saved the security envelopes, unless they came with the original mail for responding. Most of the time I just tear up the offers for new credit cards without opening them. I'll be opening the envelopes now! 😊
Many of them are the same, but you might be surprised by the variety of designs and colors that come through your mailbox.
Love these!! I just hauled a bunch yesterday, 3 for .98. about 6 of them where for Barbie doll clothes, with the Barbie logo, forgot the year but definitely vintage, I was so excited!!! Hope to make them into journals. Thanks for sharing your treasures.
That’s awesome! How exciting! Thanks for watching! 😃
I like that you cut the envelopes open and are showing the inside. All the videos I've seen so far, the envelopes are glued shut and used as pockets. I'm looking forward to your next video with these envelopes.
That was the idea, to feature the unique designs that are hidden away inside these envelopes. I hope you enjoy the series and see the final result. Maybe you will like some of my other videos. I know I don’t have much on my channel yet, but I appreciate your encouragement and support. 🥰
Genius!! Both you and Dawn! I have saved a ton of these and have been trying to use them too, with limited results. Now the fun begins!
That makes me so happy that you found inspiration in our videos. It really was fun and I still have a boatload of these envelopes! Thanks so much for tuning in and commenting. 🥰
Great video Ami. I came over from The Book Vandal. Love your idea of using junk envelopes make a journal. I have a tons of them. I will now go watch your second video. Blessings, Ligaya.
Yay! Welcome here. I hope you enjoy my videos. Thanks!
Hello Ami!! I just watched the latest Feacher Friday on The Book Vandal's channel and wanted to come see your newish channel. What a great idea to use the envelopes! I've never seen this idea of using them in the way you are. And, I've been watching UA-cam for a very long time. I'm surprised I haven't found you sooner. Your channel is really nice to watch. Best of luck to you in your craft. I'm looking forward to seeing more. 😊
Aww! That means so much to me to hear you say that. 🥰 I appreciate your interest and support. Welcome!
