Hritik’s performance in which film?
@ I really liked Hrithik performance in Fiza his second film that year after his debut it is a excellent offbeat film I absolutely loved his performance in Guzaarish a very underrated film he best acting performance

1996 srk making history ddlj and he truly deserve bro❤
Haha I know. Which is why in the video said mine would be an unpopular opinion. Ddlj and Srk are definitely iconic. But I only compare acting performances - Aamir in rangeela felt better to me…but again, It makes sense why most people would give it to srk
bro full n final is copy of Snatch
It’s a hilariously horrible copy of snatch. I still can’t stop laughing about the fact that in snatch you have the Russian..and in fool n final you have arbaaz Khan play the role and his name is “Moscow chikna”
@@BantermanBhatt Yes true.in our national language we say sasta copy
Aamir ❤❤❤

Hollywood has copied Jab We Met and Leap Year is the Hollywood version Jab We Met such a iconic film the acting is really good and really great songs
I feel like jab we met is also inspired a bit by along came Polly
Sadak is a remake of Taxi Driver Sadak is remembered for Sadasiv Amrapukar as Maharani Sangharsh 1999 is a remake of Silence of The Lambs Ashutosh Rana Lajja Shankar Pandey he is fantastic Ajay Devgn is really good in Deewangee 2002 is a remake of Primal Fear
sangharsh was made by tanuja chandra, who is anupama chopra's sister. such an irony that the sister of one of India's top critics made a film which is a rip off.
Jalwa is a copy of Beverly Hills Cop but it is very well done Aitbaar 1985 is copy of Dial M For Murder Race is a copy of Goodbye Lover Ajnabee 2001 is copy of Consulting Adults Humraaz 2002 is copy of A Perfect Murder Murder is copy of Unfaithful Murder 2 is copy of a Korean film The Chaser Aitraaz is a copy of Disclosure Mohra is a copy of Death Wish 4 Aatish 1994 is copy of a Hong Kong movie A Better Tomorrow they are good movies definitely give them a go if you haven’t seen some of the ones mentioned in this list

Awarapan as a copy of Korean movie “A bittersweet life”, is really interesting to me as all the religious/faith aspects that make me rewatch again and again are completely absent from the original.
Oh I didn’t know that. So you mean the Korean movie doesn’t have the religious elements?
@@BantermanBhatt Yeah, no religious elements, no backstory for the main character as seen with Emraan/Shriya flashbacks. No human trafficking angle for the Mrinalina Sharma character. The Korean movie has some excellent stylish fight choreography which Awarapan has tried to copy unsuccessfully. But in terms of plot depth and themes Awarapan is a much better movie.
@ oh that’s really interesting. I’ll definitely check out parts of the original. But yeah, awarapan is definitely one of emraan’s more underrated movies.
Its a mad mad mad mad world (1963). It was plot for Dhamaal. Also, its climax was copied in Bhagam bhag's climax.
And rate race was a remake of that and dhamaal’s themes and treatment was very similar to rat race’s
You can add as many things as you can in a copied virsion.. that's nothing special or new .
I'd disagree there. the only difference between a copy and a remake is that in a remake you paid the rights for it. So I feel creatively they shouldn't be treated differently. Also, a huge part of movies made are based on books - so much so that you have a "Best Adapted Screenplay" category at the oscars. It's only fair to be inspired by an idea....what matters is how you visualise it, mould it and and present it to make it something unique enough that stands out.
Heyy Babyy - Three Men and a Baby
Garam Masala - Boeing Boeing
Oh there’s numerous Bollywood remakes of south films. Most of priyadarshan’s, Rohit Shetty’s and David dhawan’s movies
@BantermanBhatt add Abbas-Mustan, Sanjay Gupta, Mahesh Bhatt, and Vikram Bhatt to the list
that list is never ending haha! Sanjay gupta and the Bhatts from Korean films, abbas mustan from Hollywood..
Chachi 420 is also a great copy of Ms. Doubtfire. Munnabhai MBBS is also inspired from Patch Adams and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
There's so many! I'm actually doing another video where I talk about Movies you had no idea were copies/inspired and I;ve got Munna Bhai and a few others in that.
A kiss before dying is itself a remake of 1956 movie if the same title.
True..There are so many such movies where the Hollywood movie itself is a remake of another Hollywood movie that came back in the day...somewhere in between Bollywood does a copy...and then people feel the new Hollywood movie is a copy of the Bollywood one. Case in point - Maine pyaar kyun kiya and Just Go With It...While Just Go With It itself is a remake of Cactus Flower which came out in 1969, with the same plot. Similarly Aashiqui 2 and A Star Is Born - So many people were like oh yeh movie toh Aashiqui 2 ki copy hai...While the reality is that A Star is Born has been remade 5 times in Hollywood, starting from 1937.
Kaante is way more detailed, character oriented, extraordinarily acted by Dutt & Manjerekar, smartly directed by Gupta..Reservoir Dogs is cool but Kaante is better..Even though I think Tarantino might be the greatest director because of his later movies, Reservoir dogs was just his entry into hollywood
I’ve got to disagree there! Yes kaante had a lot going for it…but reservoir dogs still is in a league of its own. For starters, the lengthy dialogues and monologues work so well in reservoir dogs and it was something fresh to see in Hollywood at that time as well. Next what actually makes reservoir dogs a great film is its lack of scale. Staging 80% of a movie in a warehouse and still keeping the audience hooked is a feat if it’s own. Kaaante definitely used scale well, but I still feel reservoir dogs was in a league of its own.
@@BantermanBhatt I would definitely agree that Reservoir dogs is more raw and less filmy but don't know there is something cinematic in Kaante which weirdly even if it is more filmy and songs at regular intervals- it still works big time. And definitely more stylish and big budget than Reservoir dogs
@@karanprabhune6887 it definitely does. It was the first of its kind in Bollywood. I remember finding all the filmy elements so cool in it as a kid, and it’s aged well too.
Not interested in bollywood but this video was well executed and explained. You picked topic and stories precisely that was not known to all. Especially your Kaante original movie explanation was superb.
Thanks a lot!! Appreciate it. Been a movie buff since a very young age, so trying to share what I know in an interesting and informative way!

What about a movie with shahrukh and sunny deol called Darr is a copy of a Hollywood movie called FEAR
Darr came out in December 24, 1993 and fear came out in April 12 1996 , fear is a copy of darr
OverSmart Jokerrr
@@ReginaldLal True..I'm glad you brought this up. Yes, Fear is somewhat on the same lines. The difference being that in this Mark Wahlberg, who plays Shahrukh's character, actually hooks up with the actress and they date as well....Later they break up and he's obsessed with her...while in Darr it was always a one sided love track which no one else knew about. Also, the other actor in this is not her fiancee and those plot points are different too.
@@ReginaldLal Darr is copy of Cape fear (1991) Martin scorsese and Robert de niro, U r talking about Mark Whalberg's fear which has no relation to darr
@@karanprabhune6887yes MARK Welbergh's FEAR was copied into another bollywood movie called AETBAAR(2004) starring AMITABH BACHCHAN, BIPASHA BASU and JOHN ABRAHAM 😅😅
I think you don't like srk.. in the 90s era not only SRK could act, his eyes could also act... and in the 90s only SRK and Ajay had this skill
Srk in baazigar, darr, Swades, chak de no doubt. But in years where others had much more impressive performances and had worked much harder, it’s only fair to credit them. Fandom ek taraf aur fairness ek taraf.
Make on 00s, 10s and recent one
Yes!! Soon!
SRK deserve every award
I think you should apply for Filmfare’s judging panel.
Stree 2 se kafi better hai
Nahi yaar. I definitely didn’t feel that. Stree 2 was much better. Constantly funny. Humor was much better in Stree 2
Shah Rukh Khan king Jawan No Award Pathaan no Dilwale no Don 2 no Channel Express no Raees no
Are you saying he deserved an award for any of these?
Bhai half the people didn`t even get nominated - Like Pankaj Kapur, Rajit Kapoor, Raj Babbar. Om Puri, Naseer, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher. The disservice awards have done to Indian cinema is pretty pathetic. Movies like Tamanna, ek doctor ki maut, suraj ka satvan ghoda - some amazing performances. Even Govinda - kya mast comedy movies diya. Manoj Bajpayee doesn`t even get nominated for Aks. Kuch bhi hai ye awards.
Yup so true. It was based more on how big a hit the movie was more than the acting performance. Growing up filmfare still had some charm. Now it’s literally dead. It’s a joke. I remember a phase where after a.r. Rahman won the Oscar, for a solid 5 years only he won best composer. While a lot of what he had composed was very average. On the other hand pritam and Vishal shekhar were composing some great stuff then but just lost out.
❤
it's a good series..keep it up!
Thank you!! Yes I’m definitely thinking of!
DeNiro also add the "you're laughing, people are dying and you're laughing" which became a common phrase
He also says it in such a matter of fact way. Someone else could’ve really stressed on it. But just the way he delivers it works so well
Shaheer had a good reputation and career on TV but for a useless Bollywood movie he has lost respect of his fans from TV I being one of them ...he had the privilege to choose a good script because he isnt absolute new face in show biz. He is going on path of Karan Singh Grover which will be flop.
On paper, I can’t really blame him. It was a meaty role. Known writer, big actress. But hope he can salvage something of off this
@@BantermanBhatt he is a good actor but he has taken hasty decisions especially if u see his shows after kuch rang ..all those projects failed even on Star plus.
The mistake he did on TV can be costly in Bollywood..he should be judicious enough to know whats he is signing up for.
@@rider4745 hmm. I haven’t really seen any of his shows so can’t comment on his acting range. But hope he can make good choices and scale up from here!
I like how Joaquin threw out the cringy and unneeded parts of his dialogue and made it a lot better
W for skipping the Werewolfes houl😂😂
It could have been a quirky thriller but……!! Never mind 😀
Yea big let down!
Disappointing!!
Seriously!
Ver ordinary movie. Tanvi is ageless - doubles up across decadal time periods both, current and 20 years' past in the same look and form. Male protagonist is below average and gets too meaty a role than what is his due. Kajol smacks of a mid-life crisis and disproportionate facial fat. She's wasted.
Tanvi’s character also could’ve been so much better written
Joaquin intentionally said "society" instead of system. he is one of us.
I’ll never watch the sequel & I feel bad for the ones who did. My memory isn’t tainted with whatever happened in apra poe duè
Hahaha. Even if you go in with the lowest expectations possible, it’ll still manage to disappoint. And more than a filmmaking problem it’s got to do with a marketing problem. Had to movie been portrayed for what it was things could’ve been different.
I literally just watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and...HOLY SHIT. I loved it. Especially the ending.
You watched the correct joker movie! 😁
There were some small changes in the dialogue and other details (the howl, the shot on the side of the head, Sally diving for the floor, second shot, etc.), as if decisions were tweaked while filming. The improvisations made it more realistic and Arthur more unstable. Since 4:10 it looks like he doesn't know what to do and he's thinking -- shoot a third time, say something to the other guests, dance? Also, everything about Sophie was removed. That made wondering if she was still alive. I assumed she could be dead.
You can literally FEEL Joaquin struggling to sell the awful dialogue in real time.
Fr
I Strongly Disagree.
@@mfliminal That joke he tells Murray right before shooting him reads like something a 14 year-old would've written.
@@andytrevino4077does it matter what he said, the point was to have a punchline which resulted in his death, u MUST be 14 years old the way you nitpick cinema
@@Punkfemboy Being 14 would arguably mean thinking this is the greatest film in the history of forever. The dialogue is needlessly melodramatic and whiny, and REALLY makes me think Todd basically just watched TDK and scrolled through Joker graphics on Pinterest for an hour afterwards before writing the script. So yes, it does matter what he said considering dialogue makes up at least 50% of storytelling.
The script was always the weakest link for this movie I feel (and I love this movie). The most impactful part of jokers speech here is “if it was me dying on the sidewalk you’d walk right over me, I pass you every day and you don’t notice me”. It’s not in the script… Which likely means Joaquin came up with it
He definitely did come up with that one! I felt the script for this one was pretty good. It might not stand out as much compared to the other elements but very good on its own. I know after the 2nd part people started to see it in a different way…but I feel this movie was great in itself. Great build up, journey and character arc
It’s also so weird that Joaquim’s brother did end up dying on the sidewalk. And that too despite being famous 😅
@@TheTenaciousDogthat’s probably why Joaquin added it
@@TheTenaciousDog I had no idea about this. Just read up. Crazy…
Why just why did they have to ruin it with the second movie. This movie was amazing and now it gives it bad reputation
How does the sequel ruin this?
@@gaynarchist because now people are hating on the original movie more
Just ignore the sequel and treat it as not canon, that's what I do
This movie is a masterpiece 😊
"Joker howls at the moon" I'm so happy that didn't make it
“and it’s fucking weird” im dead 😭😭💀
Love this scene, and I like that it feels completely unpredictable, even when I am rewatching it
This definitely hit hard the first time I saw it but there were moments even when I was drafting this script to screen when I was like damn..this is built up well. I didn’t remember this
then they had to make joker 2 the most pathetic cinema so peopel dont take the movies a little bit too seriously... we wouldnt want that.
It actually started off very well with the animation and visuals and everything. Definitely added to the creepy feel and set the stage up. But a huge surprise as to how they treated it post that
@@BantermanBhattI just don’t like how they kill off Arthur. It kind of defeats the whole point of the character. It’s like you might as well call this movie the origin story of the man who inspired the Joker if he was never actually Joker to begin with.
@@MrClean21 yup. That was the nail in the coffin for sure. A huge anti climatic moment. Such a great stage set with part 1 only for this to be a very underwhelming arc..it felt like they didn’t get the memo whatsoever about what the excitement for part 2 was about
@@BantermanBhatt it's made even dumber because they suggest that the man who killed Arthur goes on to be Heath Ledgers joker . . . Even though when the first movie was made, Todd Philips spicificly expressed this movie being it's own self contained thing and not part of any other universe
@@saggyshaggy well there’s really no end to interpretations there. They’ll probably have another movie having us expect that only for him to die too and another joker pop out 😂
The movie as a whole was quite good, but I still felt this one scene made the whole movie. The script said “the audience is quiet watching with full attention”. The same was true for the movie theater. Incredible scene.
It was definitely a great high point for the climax. Great way to complete the character arc
I mean what else is the audience supposed to be doing in a movie theater? Crying throughout?
@@thisisbs9775 my point is that the theater was utterly mesmerized, enthralled, and immersed - but I figure you knew what I meant and just wanted to make a sarcastic comment.
My curiosity is how much of this was meant to be off script or not? Im seeing a lot not coming off the script into action, and I like how it turned out. Trying to add those missing lines doesn't fit well. Would that have been a result of on set edits away from the original between takes? Or would that be because the actors just said what they felt was right in the moment, getting the point of the script across, even if it wasn't word for word? I'm unfamiliar with that detail of movie making, so it's a genuine question
I know they spent quite a bit of time filming this scene, they probably changed little pieces of it each take and then edited together the most impactful ones
So typically, any dialogue improvisation - is obviously them going off script Then there are chunks where lines are skipped. This could happen typically when - 1) the actor skips the line 2) the co actor says his/her line early and it flows well as a reaction and the director decides to keep rolling and not calll cut. Often also hoping something interesting will come out from it he/she could use in the edit 3) the editor cuts out lines and dialogues to make the scene tighter The way to tell mainly is if a dialogue is changed mid-sentence compared to the script. If a scene is edited in a wide and then they cut to a close of one of the characters - the editor probably cut a line there. If there’s no other motivation to go closer on that character. Lots of permutations and combinations! But hope this helps!
Phoenix is known for his method acting and going off-script (Look at the scene where he imitates Gary after killing Randall)
I feel going off script works well only if you’re fully immersed into your character. As a director myself I get very frustrated when actors try and improvise for the sake of it rather than logically improvising on what their character would do. But when an actor is truly immersed, you get some beautiful moments out of the improvisations.
