Calvus fry spread all over the shellie tank!
Please everyone stop saying that the instructions are useless. They are simply fn stupid. Was the engineer on crack when he dreamed this shit up?
How big is that flying fox?
My good man, I cannot emphasize enough how this tutorial saved my life tonight. The directions were useless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our ball python, Sunny, thanks you as well.
Do you have a good online fish seller that has those?
Thanks for your effort. But frankly, you are just as confusing as the written instructions. Why do you even want to differentiate the temp for day and night? It’s fine if they are the same. Hence why set two temp? Can you just simply show your viewers one temp setting?
Very cool, is it still going?
Thank you. Very informative. I had been trying to get help from the manufacturer but they keep giving me the runaround. One question though. What do you have for the continuous heat duration? I was using 10 hours and kept getting alarms. I switched to 1 hour for a while but I was wondering if it should be zero.
You are right the factory instructions are terrible. I wanted the heating and cooling but ordered the wrong one. My bad. Thanks for sorting these instructions out
Nice fish😂
Thanks very much, you made it easy compared to the paperwork which is now binned.
Thank you for this. I bought this as a budget thermostat for my new snake rack until I can pick up another herpstat. I had it set to 90 and it dropped to 80.3. I watched your video and changed some things so I'm hoping that'll help. I see the temp going back up now slowly but in worried about another drastic swing
Appreciate the video
thank you for this video. also you have a nice voice
This was more confusing the instructional manual. I just want to set it to go on at a certain temperature and off at certain temperature. This confused me even more.
I think my work 2 light is broken, because I've watch the video times to make sure i did it right 😊😅
INKBIRD, hire this man.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was exactly what I needed to get going!
Jees they are huge
Yes adult size the male was over 5 inches
Liked your tanganikan tank. Keep the vids coming. I am awaiting an update on your fishroom.
Is there no alarm on this unit? Doesn’t allow you to set any high and low alarms?
Thank you for your help. Just two questions though. 1) You set the timer to 1. What does that entail? what does the timer do? 2. The temperature differentiation... you set it at -1.2F Does that mean that the tank temperature has 1.2F more or less than the inkbird temp?
Your a life saver bro. Probably woulda killed myself if I didn’t have this video to help me.
3 years later and still helping people
4 years now
At least your instructions were in English! Thanks for the vid. It really helped. Using it on an incubator so I don’t really need the 2nd timer function but now I understand what the other set points were for. Thanks again.
I just got this thermostat and a dual dome lamp for my leopard geckos. I was hoping since it has two outlets I could set it to switch between the two for a day night cycle but I can't figure this thing out. Anyone know how to do this or if it's even do-able with this thermostat?
I’m SO confused by these damn settings… they could not have made this more complex even if they’d tried! 😠
Just go over my vid and follow UT with lots if pauses...you will get it
@@fishaccordingtostevedotnet Yes... got it now thanks, as it's inverse to any logic! 😲 .
Where did you get the camera? Awesome view! 👌
That's a GoPro 10...love it and thanks!
how did you get them to send you a controller for free?
Cool view. Some sweet fishes in there.
What do you feed them?
Thanks. Very helpful. I read the instructions and went directly to UA-cam as well.
Really good instructs, Steve -- thanks. The pamphlet that comes with the unit is certainly lacking in transmitting any sufficient understanding without inducing a brain hemorrhage! Perhaps it's one of the reasons why this unit goes on sale all the time -- crappy instructions, huh. Using my Inkbird controller for a small greenhouse during the winter months. It will be held at one steady 6C temp with a variation of say 1C via an electric oil heater that has its own t-stat (maybe set to mid-level) on the 500 watt setting. But there is also another 1000 watt switch setting that can be used for exceptionally cold days/nights. Or it can combine both switch settings for 1500 watts total for even warmer use. With that in mind, and with this Inkbird unit stating to use with no more than 1200 watt load, what would happen to this controller if I inadvertently left both 500+1000 watt switches on -- would the Inkbird auto-shut down ..or burn up?? In other words, is there some sort of safety override (to prevent fire hazard)? Also, will this controller maintain the settings if there was an extended power outage?
Did you find a real difference between this 306 model and itc-308 model? I belong to a hotter region where summers last till November and I want to use it for chicks brooding. Can you help which model is best suitable
Dude, thank you !! 😊
you have help me out a lot I don't have fish but I have a six-foot long fox snake and you are right the directions are really bad thanks again
Wrong
Thank you for this video. The instructions that come with this unit are terrible like you said. Rain bird has to do a better job explaining how to use their products. Shouldn’t have to UA-cam it for such a simple temp controller.
You did great explaining however, I'm gonna have to watch this over and over why can't they make these easier thank you
Super confusing is an understatement lmao
Thank you so much for clarifying!!!
Man even explaining this is giving me a mass headache. I don't even know if I want to set this up. All I want for this to do is if my Heater is set at 81 I want the inkbird to shut it off if it goes over. Anything else I dont want to mess with but seems like to many settings
Thank you!!
In how many day do u hatch the egg?
In about 3 to 4 days...they hide the wrigglers very well
@@fishaccordingtostevedotnet Are some of the eggs being scattered and are unlikely to fly? We are not even touching her. put some food rash and just
@@lakshmiworks1902 no the eggs should just stay in a pile
Hi
Question do you set the actual temperature dial to 75 on the physical heater or is the heater set at 80 degrees or do u set the heater on the highest and u just calibrate it threw the inkbird ???
Hey Steve thank you so much for this very easy and informative video just got mine yesterday and I felt like the instructions were too confusing and I can see I wasn't alone!😂 So you know 2 yes after they haven't fixed this instructions. 🤦🏻😂
Very clear explanation. Thank
How has it been keeping the shellies and calvus together
It went OK...the shellies kind of act like the fry are thier own!
Very well put
So if you have this set to 80 would you set the built in thermostat in the aquarium heater to like 82 and then let this inkbird turn it off/on or would you set the inkbird to 82 as the failsafe and let the heaters built in thermostat work it?
I just had my heater cranked and then set the inkbird as described in the video. It turned my heater on and off for me at the desired temp.
Anyone know what to do when it says Err?
