It Was Finished Upon That Cross - Easter 2024
We had a perfect world till lucifer showed up.
"Although He was a Son, He learnt obedience by the things which He suffered" HEBREWS 5:8
there are people alive now who have endured more suffering than Jesus, but only he was given the uno reverse card.
Praise God Almighty for the Love you give us!!!
Amen. Thank you. That must be it.
Sounds good if you're a business owner with millions if not billions. He say wanting when it's what people are needing. That aint the same. Try not working if you don't fall in the category of my first sentence and see how far you get. You can work as hard as you can, be blinded by this trust and are simply saving a slacker's @ss. Some hard workers are dumb. Which is why they end up working hard and not smart. So steer me towards a different relatable message and I might dive in.
Amen
But its not historical. That's what faith is. Believing something without evidence.
What do you do when you believe that you can’t be loved even by Him, when you walk into a room and you feel invisible and angry because it’s like no one sees or hears you
You keep on going. You're not allowed to quit
You're also not alone. I feel the same way, alone with my family. Diabetes killing me. Suppressing my feelings everyday, typing paragraphs to strangers on the internet
God sees you, and he hears you. You are loved and Jesus is knocking on your door. I know this because you are here, you must keep moving forward.
Isaiah 53:5 "He was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed."
WHITE PEOPLE CANT REPENT, STOP LIEING
They don’t change because they don’t know how! They have been living this life for so long, it becomes a nice comfortable warring shoe, aka: Comfort Zone!
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life!
Amen. You're on your way. By considering qnd questioning what others say and think you gain truth or reinforce your beliefs. Most "Christians " refuse to think about anything that counters their belief. But how do you know right from wrong if you don't question or challenge your beliefs.
The difference is drunkenness as in being drunk. Having a small drink vs getting drunk. and drinking in front of people who will be tempted by alcohol. Nowhere does the Bible expressly forbid a minor amount of alcohol at a time exceptin a couple of cases. Always, it says, Dont get "drunk", "drink in excess" or "tempt others with your actions" who have a problem with control around alcohol except in 2 cases. 1 when you aim for or gain a higher position in a church and 2 when drinking will cause another to falter. Having a drink or shot sized bit of wine is not getting drunk or having alcohol in excess. Having a partially filled reasonably sized ppl glass or a shot, that will not get you drunk and is a completely different story. And as far as do not do things that will cause your friends to fall that does not mean alcohol is strictly forbidden. It means if you know they have trouble with alcohol do not drink in front of them or involve them in drinking as this will temp them to fall. Because you will cause them to fall. Drinking separate from them and never involving them or tempting them by doing it front of them or speaking of it is not against the rules. The Bible literally verbatim says "drink wine with a merry heart" (as in do drink happily) and if you're stomach is upset "drink not water but have a little wine" (or DO NOT drink a non alcoholic drink but DO DRINK a little alcohol). Why would the Bible tell a person to avoid a non alcoholic drink and drink alcohol if it was strictly wrong. Furthermore why would the Bible say verbatim "drink wine with a merry heart" as in drink alcohol with happiness not guilt if it was wrong. I mean even if it was to make a point about something completely unrelated you don't say murder without guilt to make a point because you know murder is wrong. Same goes for alcohol. It would cause confusion. It really bothers me when a preacher suggests alcohol is strictly forbidden by the Bible. Because the preacher is not speaking based on the Bible. They are working against it. Let alone proverbs 31:4-7 and 31:6-7. There's no denying based solely on the Bible itself alcohol is not strictly illegal according to the written law no matter what your good intentioned preacher might say. Again that doesn't mean getting "drunk " or drinking in excess let alone tempting another.

Dont forget to tell people to repent and follow jesus
Thanks for the comment! We completely agree that repentance is essential. The full length sermon addresses the necessity of repentance. You can find the full sermon on our channel. The video title is “How to love like Jesus.” Thanks again!
wow.... so cool, your words feel comfortable and I pray for you to have more authority to speak the words of God. Amen
I needed this reminder even though its at 4 AM. Thank you.
And if children's tv show taught me something, if you since someone, you'll do what's best for them, and since God is all knowing, he knows what is best for everyone
Amen,God bless you❤️❤️❤️
I agree!
So you are saying Jesus doesn’t cast judgement on us for our sins? That somehow He accepts everyone for the sin filled person they are? What you said is not the gospel
Thanks for the interaction! Like the video says, Jesus hates our sin. He actually doesn't accept us just how we are. Because of how we rebel against God, we're dirty with sin and need to be cleansed. And Jesus promises that there is a way to be cleansed, which is through his perfect life, death, and resurrection in our place. We have that simply through believing in him. Like John 3:16 explains, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” You can also watch the full sermon on our channel for more. The title of the sermon is "How to love like Jesus." Thanks again!
@@CityOnAHillBrighton that is closer to the gospel, why didn’t you say that in the clip?
@@krakoosh1 Thanks again for taking the time to message. UA-cam limits our shorts to 60 seconds, and there’s only so much we can say in one clip. The entirety of the gospel is explain in the full sermon. I think you would like the full-length sermon video! The title of the video on our channel is “How to love like Jesus.”
Explain
Thanks for the question! In John 13, Jesus uses a foot washing as a metaphor for how he cleanses us of our sins through his death on the cross. Jesus tells Peter that he must be cleansed, or else he’ll never be part of God’s people. John 13:8 “Peter said to him, ‘You shall never wash my feet.’ Jesus answered him, ‘If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.’” What Jesus is saying is that we’re all dirty with sin, but simply by believing in the perfect life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we can be completely forgiven and cleansed of our sin. John 3:16 makes the same point. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” You can also watch the full sermon video on our channel, where we explain this in more depth. The sermon title is “How to love like Jesus.” Thanks again for the interaction!
John 13:8 Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.”
Get mad at me all you want, but people literally stereotype Christian’s to be the only good people on earth. I’m sorry but y’all spoil them in attention too much. Like theres other good religions. Christians aren’t the only ones who follow god. Like y’all fr act like they’re superior to everyone else 😒🤦♂️🙄
Really, my bible said to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins!
Hi, thanks for the interaction! He's talking about when someone first becomes a Christian. To initially become a Christian is something that happens through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, not through works. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
❤
He was so patient with the Pope and his stable of pedos
If there was some way we could know God knows something we would know God exist. There's no evidence he's as dumb as the book betrays. There's no evidence he's smart enough to call someone on the phone Read write or talk. This will matter after 30 years of believing Without reason.
He didn't die for our sins. He took a weekend off and then came back to rule the whole universe. I would take that deal in a minute. Throw the bible in the trash
Well said. Amen!
So good for my heart to hear this
We don’t have any nonbiblical sources that document Jesus’ resurrection. Josephus names him, and Tacitus names him. Neither historian proclaims his resurrection.
What do we say to all the people who’ve buried someone who ‘waited on his timing’ but his timing never came?
Who?
