Hollywood blvd would be a better plade without those CD peddlers. Sometimes when I'm walking along, they stick those CDs in your face. Sometimes they corner you against the wall until you hear what they want to sell you. It's rap n hip hop BS I don't listen to . I live nearby and experience this on a daily basis. They need to get real jobs.

Too many hillsides have no retaining walls or ground cover. They’re eroding into the street even in good weather, imagine if it rains for a few days in a row, or the inevitable earthquake. City needs regulations requiring property owners to secure their own ground, so public tax $$ doesn’t have to clean up the landslide-blocked streets.

My father had an Italian restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd in the 1970s and he refused to deliver to people in the Hollywood Hills because of impossible parking conditions. He called them goat trails.

I was hoping to see "Whimsical Landa St" aty the top of Echo Park Ave, but I guess it's a dead-end now...I lived there in the '80s when it wound around, 1 perious lane (where I believe a Hillside Strangler victim was found - urban legend, perhaps) and down toward the 5...police in training ran up the street every morning in a pack...it was quite a neighborhood! I miss it.
