Did you remove the Mufflers to be able to do that and can you get to the charcoal canister from there?????
The mufflers were already removed but you do not need to remove them, you can just loosen the exhaust brackets and let it hang down, as far as the charcoal canister I believe that is located near the gas tank, I don’t think you would need to remove all this to access it.
im sure im late but I was under my 98 gs300 today and the charcoal canister is right above the diff. You might be able to get it out with some finagling but I'd probably recommend dropping it for much easier access.
