Thanks Bro. This can be the day..the week. Will you make this day 1 or 1 day? Today is day 86 for me. I got to see family this weekend. Nephew/niece I've not seen until now. A sister that still wants a relationship with her brother. Talking to a wife who wants her husband back. Yes, it may get harder before it gets easier, but it doesn't have to be a struggle and I don't have to drink to cope today.

I've been clean and sober for over 35 years. A long time, yes, I know. I opted to move away from addiction and live a sober life. I'd say if you are serious about change then the removal of people, places and things is a real good start. But realistically it is almost difficult to pull up everything and start new. You have to act and not react and learn to do what works and leave the rest. Lastly do not forget your last drink or high and you'll find success in your time. Stay strong.
