Footage from awhile ago when a black bear got a little too interested in our chickens. You can hear my partner trying to scare it off by yelling, then I ran outside and threw a board at it, please don't do that if you are in a similar situation, you can see the exact moment I realize that was a stupid thing to do! I fired a shot into the air to further scare it away. As of yet it has not return...

Folks often abandon cats out here, which is terrible. I set a trap to catch a stray cat so they could be adopted out and ended up catching a skunk instead! UPDATE: We did eventually catch the cat, his name is Rosco and hes happily sleeping beside me as I type this, I also no longer smell like skunk.

Coyote tried to get into the chicken coop. This is security camera footage and I made it out there as soon as I saw the alert. The sound at the end is me firing bio degradable powder rounds at the coyote to scare him away. Everyone survived and was happy again right away after some treats!

Woke up this morning to a lot of track around the truck, checked the cameras and found this!
