She found & purchased spare charge leads 🔌 for the car 🚗, just so you know they are available. Every now & then she will wake up & say the thing has not charged overnight. So as an educated guess on my part the spring piston contacts ⚡ fit tolerance may be wearing dirty or bent. Personally I never tight fold my leads, that will fracture the inner cables faster than anything, if building site 110V cable runs have taught me anything about plug 🔌 ends lol. Pro tip: (Elastic scaffold bungee toggle ties for sheeting are amazing tied to the end for fastening to balustrade while working / welding 👨🏼‍🏭, extending cable joints without smashing your plugs 🔌 off if they eject down the stairwell 🫣😱😖, plus storage solution tidy 🤗, stairwells are great for dangling them down to remove figure 8 ♾️ kinks of novices elbow wrapping them tight without unfurling the kinks 🤦🏼‍♂️ to 😉)

@@gavinoliver8074 No it's not primarily, but it's still extremely effective at lubricating electrical systems, most mechanical workshops use it as a sort of valeting spray 🤷🏼‍♂️, for dashboard wipe downs motorcycle fender show room wipe overs for repelling dust back when I did a short work experience years ago. On the can: Lubricant penetrant and water displacer On the back: Loosens rusted parts Prevents squeaking PTFE formula helps lubricate Drives out moisture from electrical systems Fast acting cleaner Versatile and Easy to Use. In my experience it's better than standard WD40. The thing with the charge sprung piston electrical contacts in this watch charging lead is they jam & PTFE is extremely effective at reducing the friction coefficient of any dirt & grime amongst all that. Generally cost effective do all spray.

WD40 specialist contact cleaner is pricey 🤑, the main ingredient is isopropyl isopropanol alcohol, surgical spirit it's known names 👀, I think when I tried to look these things up so it's just pressurised wallet rinse 💦 💸💸 🫢🤫🤭 lol. The formulas are all different for best use knowledge. DS4 🎮 stick potentiometers 🕹️ & buttons 🔘 for example are very fussy on chemical & volume of stuff. One toothpick drop of isopropyl on the button 🔘 to click clean it may leave it white residue dry for example so I tap spray GT85 to counter it 👍🏼. It gets complicated on what you can & can't flood your PCB with 🥴. Potentiometer 🕹️ spring cores are silicone lubricated so liberal spraying of isopropyl or GT85 in that pot or side contacts are a no no 🙅🏼‍♂️, not to flood clean the silicone out into the track contacts ⚡ & severely mess up the deadspot 🎯 position 🫠. Each chemical in its wanted place or it's a desolder strip clean to get the viscosity & mechanical ⚙️ workings right 🫣🤦🏼‍♂️. Micro tech with moving parts is something else entirely than lubing a plug 🔌 socket or bicycle 🚲 chain 😭. Did you know if you clean rubber with isopropyl alcohol it gets rid of sticky rubber syndrome but does not leave the surface inert so it comes back for say Analog stick 🕹️ caps, tyre rubber, garages spray them with silicone to protect them from UV 🌞 make them shine 🤷🏼‍♂️. PTFE is supposedly inert for wipe downs, that's why I keep it around but it's supposedly on the toxic ☣️ forever ♾️ chemicals list, it's so good at it's lubrication low coefficient job it may lubricate 🧬 bonds apart, or so I started to read in safety sheets but they keep changing the formulas anyway for legal obfuscations 🫦, we can't have smooth running things 🤷🏼‍♂️🫠, without side effects. (hydrophobic vs hydrophilic PTFE seems to be both on its chemical bonds) It was way over my head when I tried to educate myself 🫡😵‍💫. (Don't drink it wear gloves 🧤 lock ourselves in plastic bubbles someone has poisoned the water hole 🕳️🤠, PTFE tape on plumbing threads 🔩, is it in a solid form 😱) But I've also read that oil eater is good for arresting sticky rubber syndrome, the leaching of oils from rubber left in UV light 🌞 or non inert sweaty child's hands 😁 covered in foods, sweats acids. Sorry about that, what's worse under or over thinking the safety standards ☯️ 😂🤣😭.

@@john_punch These particular stand alone Hall Effect Ginfull side modules are not behaving as ide hoped Johnny 😭. They are weird when calibrated on the DualShock Calibration GUI. (I've only tried temporary calibration for this reason) It draws in the + position range of all axis close to the circle but leaves the - side wide open square 🟥 😵‍💫 🤷🏼‍♂️. I tried manipulating the magnet 🧲 position to cut off the top left corner close to the circle ⭕, (almost impossible thankless task that was) but if you do that the magnetic field falls off dramatically in the top left corner 😬 when the pendulum action moves the magnet to an extreme position relative to the chip, translating to a more exponential fast response curve on screen movement in that corner 🤦🏼‍♂️. The Pads 🎮 in pieces at the moment until I can force myself to pick it back up 😮‍💨😤. It's a square magnet unlike the Ginfull V5 orange pot that utilises curved & pointed magnets possibly to tailor the field ⚛️🧭 fall off less abruptly, emulating a more linear on screen result? It's demoralised me for the moment on how it actually functions 🤷🏼‍♂️. The magnet must be set in the middle then calibrated manually with trim pots but it's not right. It's to fast at the outer tilt with a higher than standard Avg Error. Maybe that's why outer deadspot chip programming is utilised. There fundamentally different from track & wiper potentiometer 🕹️ signal translation. Gulikit sides or Ginfull V5 curved magnets may fix it? You can't buy the sides of those stand alone & I'm not sure the Ginfull orange centre axis keyway will fit the Xbox one elite series 2 bases I've sourced. Watch the playlist space if I can be bothered to revisit this brain 🧠 ache 🤯.

@GOATGamerProSticks I like your unconventional engineering approach from the way the potentiometers are fixed for adjustment to adjusting the stiffness of the stick through the center hole in the stick. I hope you will find the strength and inspiration to solve the main problem with the circle shape over time.

Well the concept works fine with ordinary potentiometer sides, paired with the silicone tube shaft protectors then light pressure calibrated, providing an over pressure reach zone of sorts 👍🏼. You have to overthink everything to truly know what you're changing 😁 (9.6mm diameter stick becomes closer to a 10mm bearing on my other mod but still I wrap the 9mm bearing to 9.6mm then use this silicone sleeve for uniform pad calibration 😮‍💨😤, response curve speed changes drive me that insane lol) T6 security screw driver bit from an X box kit works fine for the hex head grub screw, don't need the handle it might encourage over tightening, the punched through drill hole 🕳️ in the rubber cap actually retains the grub screw from falling out possibly, other than being a thumb 👍🏼 dirt trap. Product means testing, modular options 🥴. Flat base grub screw provides more than enough spring tension for people that would want to attach tall kontrol freaks, for the sake of the leverage gain. I tested the tension against a standard DS4 🎮🕹️🕹️ pushing the sticks against the modded pad pair & it told me the mod has less & more tension than standard across it's range. I've got cone point grub screws but they seem far too stiff & possibly will put too much pressure on the top plastic tapped thread portion before it screws into the metal mount pin mod at mid tension, tight fitting mount pins in the stick top are crucial, until it locks itself down 🔩 in the base pin. If only I had some cup point grub screws 🤔, to test a limited tension screw. I could always dot punch & drill the end of a grub screw, but that test is not important. Primary functions first 😉.

What sort of problems is it giving you? (I've never logged a brand new Dualsense standard factory 🏭 readings out of the box 🎁, try comparing it to one you have no problems with if you can) Large outer circularities can start to cause a fast menu 📜 scroll skipping on certain games & apps, worn grooved stick 🕹️ posts & case wear friction rings will allow greater tilt & may cause that problem 🤷🏼‍♂️. Its the 2.3K weak resistance contact ⚡ track & wiper that draws the most concern in the Dualsense, once that starts to wear they do very odd movements across the response curve range.

Yes of course. Full Auto or part auto without clutch use is in the settings. In fact I think I had to turn auto transmission on because one of my Analog sticks I was working on calibrating started playing up on the gear ⚙️ shifting becoming inconsistent. Worn stick or drift problem I think 🤷🏼‍♂️.

That 20% over the circle ⭕ is that with the case fully screwed & assembled in a consistent circle? On what pad 🎮 type, my experience is primarily with DS4, just for reference knowledge I tried to log a standard un worn stick shaft & case hole 🕳️ aperture for a base line foundational tilt range 🤷🏼‍♂️. Not very scientific but I just get by on observations like that. Anything over 10% Avg Error in my observations can create fast menu scroll 📜 skipping, on certain game menus or third party apps like Amazon prime UA-cam maybe, it's hard to tell what's actually the sweet spot because there was a time that a larger error was beneficial for axis cross ❌ over. When I used to play BF4 in the F35 jet hover mode it helped maintain the forward throttle position & sharp steer without ditching in the sea 🌅 on the same stick. So absolute 0% error is not something to aim 🎯 for 🌊🫠💦🤽🏼‍♂️🏝️🏖️ 🔫 just an FYI lol. Old memories of classic games long past. You can go mad with this precision hunt logging stick 🕹️ diameters & optimal mechanical spring slop tolerances 😵. I am the evidence, currently looking at Xbox one elite series 2 sticks with the right Hall Effect sticks on them for all pads just to gain spring tension control 🫣😱.

There's not an official shape rubber replacement, you have to purchase whole new sticks 🕹️ if you want the same form factor. I've sourced the best fit alternatives, off the shelf options then added my own centre infill idea 💡 like a smart 🤓 arse 🫏 🫢. Do you know how to lens a photo on android devices? It will lead the way to possible options, not always as pictured 🫣🤨🧐 lol, but sometimes it works. Not a clue, it's an old game that might be a mission spawn 🤷🏼‍♂️. But online social event royal blue convoys were hard to find way back when I made this video, the social event stuff got patched & discontinued ages ago apparently. Blue chests 🧰, ships & whales where online friends only spawns. It should loosen the pins, it's more of a moisture displacer penetrant. Give the can a read just to be sure. It's the PTFE Teflon that keeps things smooth moving in GT85 for comparison sake, friction coefficient reduction residue. I've not used WD40 in years to tell how it performs to be honest 🤷🏼‍♂️, I used to use it on my push bike 🚲 chain as a child. WD40 does a specialist contact spray for electricals ⚡. The ordinary stuff should be fine just for sprung charge pins I would guess but more oily?

I try hard, I replaced my oven main element & fan motor, broke the bulb 💡 cover in the process, sourced a cheap replacement with the same thread for a fraction of the price. Strip maintain the vacuum, might have to rebuild the wheels 🛞🛞 next or bush tube the hubs 😉😁. Fixed the lightweight suction cut off on the Vax carpet cleaner. But this washing machine drum 🛢️ has had every hole 🕳️ negative dap punched in the past from bra wire damage it started plucking all our clothes 😂🤣😭. So it was hammer 🔨 time for the cement mixer clothes 👖👕🎽👚👗 shredder 🌊🌀🫧💦 because of these 🫸🏼👙🫷🏼 b******s 😬 lol. Silicone objects tend to want to expand a little 🤏🏼 when in the open air though like deep sea creatures out of there depth, countering potential future mould shrinkage. Curing in a vacuum will do the opposite. So you could calculate -40 psi outer mould cure +40 psi cure for the object reproduction give or take a few Psi for best use & shrinkage 🤷🏼‍♂️. How boring is this learning curve 😁.

Yep the outer stick 🕹️ tilt tracking is stupidly fast along with menu 📜 scrolling on square 🟥 pot test readings. High resistance pot side replacements make the circle ⭕ AVG Error % wide open 🫷🏼🟥🫸🏼 but you can shrink it with secondary trim pots that reduce the overall resistance with more material added in the circuit ⚡ of varying resistance values from 2M for minimum fractional 🤏🏼 0.075% shrink to 50 - 40k maximum circularity ⭕ shrinkage. It's the ohms ♎ resistance ⚡ of the entire circuit paired to the PCB 😉.

Would you classify this as a defective(at what point would it be defective if yes), and would this cause an issue while tracking in fps games? Because I definitely do feel something is off - as If certain directions is sped up, but have also heard it makes no difference in-game. Can you clear this up please?

@@Sui_Generis0 An open outer response curve square 🟥 will definitely make tracking a target 🎯 difference, your muscle 💪🏼 memory will be completely off from a standard pads 🎮 🕹️🕹️🎯🎯 calibration settings. DS4 🎮 has in my opinion a standard outer circularity ⭕ of about 10.9% from what I've seen to ensure 100% stick ranges reachable at full tilt.

The full custom made modular stainless steel stick 🕹️🕹️ concepts? Unfortunately not only 2 nearly full sets exist as proof of concept hand built units. I wish I had a business selling them but they take a good 2 - 4 weeks hand machining 🫣. Ide need a machine shop to scale up the speed & create the required jigs presses & many methods I've thought up since to crash them out. The real question is what would people pay for universal modular stick 🕹️🕹️ sets 🤷🏼‍♂️ of such quality RRP? With stand alone replacement pieces 🧩 sold for such microscopic loses. I went overboard to push my understanding of the stick calibration effects, response curve stick tilt range via bearing width for shaft thickness. I never truly finished it's complexity, I was going to create bearing bush sleeves for 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 tilt widths cos 8mm bearings are the smallest that would fit, then sleeve that & the others to 8.5mm upwards on paper 📜 at least. The stick heights mushrooms 🍄 themselves can be T nut stack adjusted in increments of .1, .15, .2, .3, .5mm washers to cover absolute muscle 💪🏼 memory accuracy 🎯 🔫. A real E Sports contender in the making lol. If you study my early vids on them when I went crazy creating them for BF4 back in the day. They could probably compete with mouse & keyboard speeds & accuracy just if the user knows what they are altering in the setup stack. Did you ever hear of Mod Sticks as a product available on the Xbox 360. That & control freaks peaked my interest but that's as far as I got on mechanical potentiometers 🕹️👀 the weakest link in the plan especially Xbox elite series 2 pots with up to 20% dead spots for slop in some cases 🤦🏼‍♂️.
