Juban, 16-071 It was a meditating experience listening to different sounds produced by pieces of instruments. An art expressed in a way where its sound brings you in motion. I find it inspiring to hear sounds that bring you a comforting and peaceful feeling.

Navallo 16-055 still showcasing the innovative use of the loop to create the atmosphere and music of a traditional ensemble, In this performance, i liked the costume design of the dancer/performer. the colors and the poncho-esque flow of the dancer, i found, was pretty mesmerizing and honestly kind of cool.

Navallo, 16-055 I found the the art piece to be innovative and inspiring. i liked the idea of using modern instruments and everyday items to achieve the sound and feel of an ethnic ensemble. i found the use of the loop to be innovative in the sense that the artist achieved on his own, what it takes a multi person ensemble could achieve. all in all, i liked the performance, and would really love to experience it in person one day.

They adeptly echoed the ups and downs of the melody and its rhythmic flow with their emotive gestures, imbuing it with a sense of personal connection to the music. Despite my unfamiliarity with this form of art, it strangely felt comforting and deeply resonant, as if it whisked a fragment of myself to another dimension. Integrating various instruments and accompanying dance steps during performance enhances the authenticity and uniqueness of the auditory journey.

What a wonderful performance. It was like seeing a flower dancing. The dancer and the music was tryuli insync. The music was immensely captivating. It had somewhat a haunting and spirtual element to it. Coupled with the performance of the dancer. The dancer moving along the weirdly offbeat but harmonious rhythm making me feel off-balance but aswell so peaceful. Combined with how she moved to it, made quite eerie sight , looking possessed covered in white transparent fabric shedding it over and over again. Its like a ritual for calling spirits. The dancer was completely insync with the music and followed the rhythm very smoothly. The music is quite similar to the first performance very similar to a tribal music. The dancer is also wearing an interesting costume that resembles a plant. The performance is very hypnotic like the last. (Lumanog, 16-055)

The music is very hypnotic and reminds me of a tribal music. The dancer flows well with the music as if performing a ritual and the way the dancer moves is also eerie. And the way the musician uses the varying instruments shows complete mastery of the instruments. (Lumanog, 16-055)

Moreover, the dancers demonstrated exquisitely their talent for both dancing and listening - they timed their moves to the music very well. Overall, it was such a sight to see and I hope to be able to see such a performance in person in the near future.

They skillfully mirrored the highs and lows of the melody and its rhythmic cadence through their expressive movements, making it feel like a personal expression of the music, Despite being unfamiliar with this type of art, it somehow felt comforting and resonant, as if it transported a part of me to another realm. The performer in the white top and the musician collaborated effectively to evoke a sinister vibe. At times, it seemed like there was a dramatic confrontation between the two performers. The artist in white appeared eager to break loose, searching for the ideal opening in their top that would unleash a new sound. With their dance interpretation, the performance radiated intense and profound emotions to its audience. 16-051 Escana, Rodd Nyx

Conales Ma. Jessika 16-051 It's amazing to see different instruments producing different beats. And how Sir Narciso can actually play it. And how the dancers were able to dance to the beat.

This performance was very captivating. It was new to my eyes and it felt like I was watching a story unfolding. Although this kind of art is new to my eyes it somewhat felt familiar as if a part of me is being taken to another dimension. The music was very calming and it triggered a lot of unexplainable feelings within me (Ang,16-057)

The performance showed the synchronization of different kinds of instruments blending altogether creating a masterpiece. With the new sound created and with the dance interpretation the performance exudes a strong and meaningful emotion to its audience. This video is very captivating and it felt as if the time stopped taking me back to the past (Ang, 16-057).

Each note seemed to dance in the air, forming a magnificent masterpiece that pulled the audience away to another world. The musicians' creativity and coordination created an outstanding experience that caught and wrapped the listener in the beauty of the music. The performance was a wonderful journey into an expanse of musical magic that not only charmed the ears but also sparked the soul.

The music performance was extremely captivating, weaving a hypnotic tapestry of melodies that grabbed my attention effortlessly. The musicians' excellence and emotional depth were visible in every note, creating a unique experience that exceeded the limitations of sound and deeply touched everyone in the room. A symphony of talent and emotion that left an unforgettable mark on those who were lucky enough to experience it.

I enjoy the rhythmic composition of the song, especially when an improvised instrument is used. I was astonished by the dancer's ability to synchronize its movement with the music. Overall, the vibrations we can create with an object found in our houses were fascinating and astonishing. (Lopez, 16-057)

Compared to the previous one, I liked the music of this performance more. The performance shows a dancing person who is dressed as a flower. It portrays a free being, evident in its open movements (LEMENTAP, 16-081).

The composition of the music itself was creative in a way that utilized improvised instruments. Although the audience might have different interpretations, the performance evokes an emotion and a story. I was deeply entertained by it (LEMENTAP, 16-081).

Compared to the previous one, this has a less musical texture. I don't know if there is a cultural background with regard to the attire of the one dancing however, it seems like it portrays a being that is free (MENDOZA, 16-081).

The music itself is already an art that really stirs my emotions and way of thinking. Honestly, I am not sure if it is a cultural piece. However, it sounds and feels like one. Furthermore, given the fact that the instruments used were a product of innovation and have successfully created various layers of elements of sounds is really amazing. The performer was also utilized well as it really brings out the texture and the quality of the music (MENDOZA, 16-081).

Much similar to Performance 1 however, performance 2 highlights the dancing and rhythm. The person in the costume did a great job in conveying the tempo and melody created by the motherboard. The person followed the highs and the lows of the melody and its tempo/rhythm through manifesting it through their movement. (Santos, 16-057)

For this performance I observed how the different vibration sounds like the synthesizers, xylophone, and the sound vibrations harmonize to create this tune that almost sounds like an indigenous piece (somewhat makes a connection with the fact that the main instrument is indi-genius). The motherboard’s tunes somewhat set the whole tempo and rhythm of the performance. For example, a certain part of the motherboard is used to set a tempo then after a certain number of beats it then switches to another instrument. However, this witch does not cause a rough tune, instead it creates a smooth transition of tempo and rhythm in the piece. This shows the remarkable versatility of the motherboard and it being an indi-genius piece of work (Santos, 16-057).

The musician performed on what seems to be an improvised soundboard. At first, the music is slow and enchanting, and as it progresses, it becomes faster and full of emotion. The dancer started off unsure, with her moves still slow, and I noticed that she’s changing the position of her arm to find the right sleeve, which represents unsureness. As the musician and the performer started to move faster, the dancer was now limiting on changing the position of her arm and was now more focused and sure of her motives. Julianna Arquiza 16-404

The performance of the person who danced and Sir Noi, who played the instruments, added quality to the auditory experience because the sounds blended well with the dancer's movements. It somehow imitates a dance of a particular culture, considering the performer's clothing. Consequently, the overall performance frequently acts as a potent symbol of the culture and history of a specific area or group. (Lanzo, 16-057)

The combination of traditional instruments and dance, especially when accompanied by traditional clothing, creates a rich and immersive cultural experience; incorporating the different instruments and the accompanying dance while playing the instruments adds a distinctive and authentic quality to the auditory experience. (Lanzo, 16-057)

The top of the performer resembles a flower. Because of this, it seemed like they were performing as a stray flower, separated from its stem, wandering as the wind blows them into the unknown. The musician was able to play into the feeling of such a situation using the instruments and his voice. (Tamayo, 16-063)

The performer in the white top and the musician worked well together to set off a sinister vibe. At some point, there seemed to be a "showdown" between the two performers. The performer in white also seemed to have wanted to be unleashed as they kept looking for the right hole in the top that will set them free. (Tamayo, 16-063)
