OUR TENT BROKE! Camping at Farsyde Farm Campsite, Robin Hoods Bay

We went away for two nights to Robin Hood's Bay, a sort of cheap and cheerful getaway for early summer. However, it was so windy that our tent did not survive. Unfortunately, we had to throw it away after as the zip was completely messed up. We stayed at a lovely campsite and it made up for the bad wind. I am back after a long time from my gallbladder removal and I am rearing to go. We visited Mam Tor in the peak district with every intention of climbing it but unfortunately, the parking police were out in force and giving out fines. We decided to drive out of the busy areas and park somewhere else for a walk. Also, my first video testing out my fluffy mic to stop windy recordings.

Hi! Great video & a lovely overview. :) We are going here for the first time at the weekend, do you just need to ring the number on the gate when you get there? :)
Yep, when you pull up ring the number and the owner will come out and open the gate up for you to drive into the camping area! We got lucky and because we said we were arriving at a certain time the lady just walked out and greeted us when she heard our car XD When you drive up to the campsite there is a house in front of you with gate, thats the owners place then to your right is a gate into the campsite and the gate to your left is where you walk through to go to Robin Hood's bay from campsite. Have an amazing time! :)
