@@timmothieortega3366 I can understand your frustration. So iMovie isn’t changing the speed, it’s that the audio recorded by the camera which is attached to the video, can sometimes be different from the audio’s sample rate (or to put it in layman’s terms - the speed) of the recorded audio that people record with an external microphone so that it is a different recording from the one recorded with the video (aka different from the video’s audio). The reason people record it twice because sometimes, their standalone microphone and its audio recording, sounds better than the audio from the camera or video camera or video, which is being used to record the video. Then… during editing, we sync up the audio that was recorded separately to the video. But since the sample rate was different (technical term), both audio files (the extra one and the audio from the video), may not line up. So this is how you make them line up. Both the camera’s audio… and the externally recorded audio. Hope that helps!

Thanks Christopher! Yes I tried my best to stitch it together while in Vancouver. I might go full voiceover for future flight reviews to keep the audio clean and crisp. Glad you found it. We didn't have one too when we were looking for one so I thought I better make one. Yes so we boarded relatively early, but not right at the very first group for some reason. Good tip, I might have to look into asking them about that for the future!

Hey Alexander, so they always recommend going for the bigger size, as once you start wearing barefoot shoes, your feet will expand a little and grow. So if you're new to barefoot shoes, definitely go for the 44 EUR. And if you've already worn several barefoot shoes or others from Vivo, still go for 44 EUR, unless your feet are in perfect, wide, stretched out positions at 27.5cm and you are SURE, that they will never increase, in size, even during vigorous activity when there is more bloodflow. My personal recommendation would be to go for the 44 EUR. Which model are you considering by the way?

Hey thanks for your question! So I'm EUR 44. In these shoes there's hardly any space at the end. Because of the leather and sort of sturdy construction of the shoe, I can't tie it too tight, because then it's hard to move in them (which I enjoy about the Primus Lite III), so I tie them not too tight. But then, the feet slide forward a little and almost touch the front. In the Primus Lite III however, for the same shoe size, there is a lot of space at the front. Hope that helps, is that what you meant or?

@@WalksOfWonder-BC I like the Asanas for casual wear like if I’m going “out”. Like to the mall or for a walk in “downtown” with my wife. But if it’s near my house to the market or for a walk nearby which I count as “exercise” or any pull-ups or fitness corner type work, or a jog, it’s the Primus Lites all the time coz: 1. They’re easier to slip on, don’t need hands, and 2. They’re intended for exercise. So, drawing a parallel to a person who’s never been introduced to barefoot shoes… Asanas are my “sneakers” or “converse”… and Primus Lites are my “sports shoes” if that makes sense. 🙂🙌🏻

@@WalksOfWonder-BC I still like the Primus Lites a LOT, but for casual wear where they look bad, especially black ones… or weird like “why is this guy wearing black worn out sports shoes with this casual wear outfit?”… I prefer the Asanas. Like both, but still very used to the Primus Lites lol.

@@zephyrkhambatta yeah it makes complete sense. It’s always difficult to compare barefoot shoes as often the difference between them are subtle. I have 8 pairs of Vivo’s that I use for different purposes. I’m tempted to get a pair of Asana’s and I think you nailed it - It’s a great casual shoe that you can use when going out for dinner without looking out of place, and you could wear to the gym or go for a walk/run in.

@@WalksOfWonder-BC right. Just to clarify that last line though, in case I’m reading it wrong, I meant casual would be the Asanas, and the gym/walk/run would be the Primus Lites (for me). 🙏🏻🙂

Hey! When I got them they were 224.73 Singapore Dollars including shipping, I pulled that figure from my Orders page inside Vivobarefoot. Without shipping, it was 200 Singapore Dollars and that's what it's showing on the website too currently. That's 171.55 USD with shipping (to Singapore - price will vary based on what shipping option you pick) and 152.67 USD without shipping. :)

Hey I just checked around, and to my knowledge the answer might probably be non-useful for you, but I'll tell you nonetheless since you asked. The only way I know to do that is to export the entire file, and then work with that new file, which WILL have the audio attached into the video as one file, if you for some need the externally recorded audio to appear in the blue part!

Hey thanks for the question! I’m not sure what you mean by 2 “audio streams” but if you mean the audio that’s coloured blue and green, the blue one is the audio that was recorded by my camera, WITH the video. The green coloured one is the audio that my microphone which you see in the video, recorded. Sometimes people use a dynamic mic like the one I did to record directional audio (which means many things, but it’s primary use (directional audio) here is that the echo from the room is cut out in the audio from the microphone, resulting in a “cleaner and more professional” sound, which makes for “better” videos). Let me know if that’s clear and/or if you have any more questions... 🙂

Also there was this one other book which I've never read again but even in that one it made my stomach retch when I read what happened at the end (or what was happening). It was that one about where people go to "die peacefully". I forget the name of that Lee Child title. Have you read that one? That felt much worse than this to be honest. I don't know if because that was betrayal and someone's final act or... but then... this was similar in a sense too I guess...

Thanks! The job market... let's see. So depending on what type of jobs. If you're looking at the lower income, maybe jobs in restaurants, convenience stores, tech stores like Best Buy, and so on... those jobs keep rotating and might be easy to get after some waiting, handing out resumes, and visiting the place in person to give your resume to show your sincerity. If you mean corporate jobs, I heard from a friend who's VERY high up in corporate (think senior director level), that while Vancouver USED to be extremely open and welcoming, currently there is some anti-government sentiment, and hence this is spilling over into offering jobs to foreigners. They may not tell you to your face, but there are some internal reservations on hiring even PRs, or anyone who has no Canadian experience. My personal take is that this is normal with human beings and countries, we're all human, and we'll do what makes us comfortable. So I have nothing against them for that, but that's just what I heard from a local, who's a very good friend, in a very large company. As for startups, and entrepreneurship, no one really cares where you're from or who you are as long as you have the skills. I have personally found the most opportunity there, by joining business networking groups and networking sessions, with spiritual-minded, business people. I heard from a housemate who I was living with, that if you get a minimum wage job, and another friend gets an entry level corporate job, after all the taxes are done, the minimum wage person isn't earning that much lower than the corporate one, and the minimum wage one can be just 3 times a week, freeing up your time to do other things. Were you looking at any jobs in particular or any fields?

Also I have 3 years of experience in HR Recruitment and 4 years of experience in quality control at Verka (India - Panjab Govt) . However, I am also open to basic survival jobs initially.

I think I found the right profile, have sent you a LinkedIn request. Happy to connect professionally. However, I also heard some advice from others who immigrated which was to not allow the "survival job" to take up the whole week, because otherwise you'll have no time left to build your actual career, unless you're open to new careers that stem from these survival jobs. Any particular place you're going to be in Vancouver? I started renting first at East 40th Avenue, then Richmond, and then I finally found a nice place in North Vancouver. I've met some decent landlords finally (I had some nightmare rentals too, which weren't very nice), and I could intro you to them.
