I've joined MediaCastPro about two years ago, back when it was still free to upload content. Despite uploading thousands of videos, I have never sold a single one, which seems quite strange.

Thank you for your video. I am going to start uploading stock photography in February. I'll start with Adobe Stock. I'll have a steep learning curve but I'm looking forward to the experience. Also, I enjoyed the birds in your video. I used to photograph birds. I love birds! 😊

I was surprised to see a couple of your videos on the "Recently submitted footage samples" on the home page of BlackBox. I didn't realise you uploaded to BB. I'm sure you will do well if you keep uploading, as I have been working hard on uploading since late 2023 and now have around 1,200 videos online. Since mid-last year, I have been selling regularly on this site, and in November, I sold 8 videos at $21.76 each in one day, obviously to one buyer as they were all of construction equipment at a new residential building stage. Apart from those one-off sales, I'm happy with what I make through video clip sales, subscriptions, datasets and discount packs. Thank you for your positive reports about Motion Array over the last few years. I started with them around the same time as BB, and I am surprised and pleased at how much I make each month with just under 1,000 images, however, I was a bit disappointed to hear about the drop in your earnings recently. Great sale on SS; thanks for pointing me to MA, and good luck with further BB sales!

V Lednu mam zatim 48 prodeju na SS, a rekord na Alamy, kde se fotka prodala za 80 dolaru (momentka z protestu u vojenske zakladny v Holandsku), skoda ze z toho dostanu jen ten 40%. Jinak klobouk dolu ze fotis celebrity na cervenem koberci, to musi byt super, pocitam ze na Getty dostavas za stazeni mnohem vice nez na Istock.

Miro - Happy New Year and another fanatstic review - for me personally at 10 cents a downlaod I have decided to no longer contribute to Shutterstock I had lots of downloads but very little return. To be fair my portfolio is no where as large as yours and this is a numbers game in terms of portfolio size In 2025 I will focus and upload to the agencies that do generate a fair return for my efforts otherwise it no worth it. Please keep up the videos and I wish you the very best in growing your UA-cam Channel.

Hi Miro, earnings from stock photo and videos continue to go down every year for me in spite of increase in my portfolio. With SS a large number of images were going for 10c in spite of being on level 4. Last year at SS 40% of my total annual came from the royalty from just 4 editorial videos. As you rightly say, it’s a pity that Adobe does not accept editorial videos. Hiring models is expensive as sales are not guaranteed. Perhaps the stock photo/video market is gradually saturating. A very Happy New Year to you. Always enjoy your videos.

Happy New Year! AI has a long way to go before it can replace photography. I use the AI editting feature on my phone camera just for fun and some of the images it generates are absolutely ridiculous and very inaccurate. Also, unlike a photographer, AI has no soul or emotion.
