notes: restoring of C II in exchange for giving Parliament more power and legalizing free speech -> Commonwealth is dead. Milton goes to jail, doesn't want to plead allegiance to the new regime, his friend Marvell intervened for Milton and got him out of jail, the older experienced person, the revolutionary who has not succeeded writers PL THANK YOUUUUU!!!! <3

Well, that's 7 minutes of my life that've been wasted. DB has read Shapiro and seen Bate being interviewed, but he has never read any of the major works by Oxfordian scholars, such as "SHAKESPEARE" IDENTIFIED by J. T. Looney, THE MYSTERIOUS WIOLLIAM SHAKESPEARE: THE MYTH AND THE REALITY by Charlton Ogburn Jr., or SHAKESPEARE BY ANOTHER NAME by Mark Anderson. Nor has he seen any of the UA-cam videos produced by Alexander Waugh showing how so many of the people who were alive in Elizabethan times were well aware of the fact that Edward de Vere wrote the Canon under the pseudonym "William Shakespeare." I've been studying the Shakespeare Authorship Controversy for just over 30 years, and the case for Oxford has only grown by leaps and bounds over time.
I've read all of them, and they're isn't a single bit of contemporary evidence that says that De Vere had anything to do with Shakespeare. It all has to undergo extreme interpretation by a qualified Oxfordian first. Nobody, not even in their private writing, ever claimed De Vere was actually Shakespeare.
Just a bunch of strawmen.
Those are arguments I hear from your compatriots all the time, so I conclude you don't know what a "strawman" is.
@@Jeffhowardmeade I know what a stalker is.
@@stevenhershkowitz2265 No, you don't know what that is, either.
