@@gigacatkun it's good choice, just never put it directly on flat table bcz the ventilation holes will be closed and the laptop get heated... Always put ur Dell laptop on elevating support

Yes, It helps with sound and smell if it is installed properly. Also, it depends of how often the door will be open.

@@joycereviews I have had 2 of the smaller ones and the solar panels are cloudy I tried all the things youtube tells you to try and none worked to clean them up .
