That is just something I have always done with a curling iron to a get a particular look. You can do it with the Beachwaver but you also do not need to since their clamp is much smaller than the typical curling iron and you can obtain the beach wave look without clamping mid way and moving down the hair.

Since filming I have done my hair a few more times holding it longer. Initially the wave is slightly better than when I filmed, but the wave flattens over a few minutes. My hair routine is the same when I use my curling wand or curling iron and I don’t have this issue. Personally I recommend buying a different waver to see better results.

I think it’s just this tool. I was really hoping for more curl too, I had to press too hard to get this and have the heat up full blast and it still wasn’t great. I am disappointed because I love how it looks and how light weight it is. I feel you girl!

There are a few things, the B1 is suppose to have a tighter curl while S1 is considered more glam, I can’t attest too much on the curl because my S1 and my B1 also have different sized barrels so of course they will have a different curl. So I wouldn’t necessarily focus on that but more on which size of barrel you purchase. The B1 has a more ergonomic friendly handle (more hourglass). For my smaller hands I prefer holding the B1 over S1. The b1 has a non digital temperature gage while the S1 has a digital temperature reader. On the S1 there is a home button for the reset on the clamp, which means you click it and the barrel rotates all way around and sets back in place when you need it unlike the B1 you have to click the arrow button to do that. The S1 also has the safety feature of a 30 minute shut off time. Hope this helps in your decision making! 💕

Sugar cookie is not as dark as rodeo drive. I think if you wanted to deepen it you would need to apply a little more than just one application. I do think sugar cookie can work on light to medium skin but you may need more application to deepen it, but it’s definitely not as dark/deep as rodeo. Hope this helps!

I have two that I really love that also have benefits of a leave in conditioner as well, living proof restore perfecting spray and It’s a 10 leave in. I use to love Eva NYC magic mane and primer, but since they changed the packaging into the aluminum I feel like the formula changed as well and it dries my hair out now. I hope this helps! I try to use products that are both leave in conditioners and heat protectants! 💕

I haven’t tried MR. Big, but the Too Faced BTS rubs off under eyes and I don’t recommend.

Sugar cookie is only slightly lighter than rodeo drive so I don’t think that one would work. Peppermint is the lightest and I think that one could work for you.
