Excellent and important presentation. There's no comparison between the real world capability of Japanese and Chinese naval forces. China's fleet is a hodgepodge of purchased and stolen material and technology cobbled together by corrupt and incompetent officials. The result is an unreliable fleet of questionable operational capability. The Japanese, in contrast, are known for a methodical and careful approach to developing and producing complex systems of the highest order. The result is unmatched performance and reliability.

I prefer the Mogami Class because of its stealth design, its size and range capability. The only concern it’s Japan’s lack of technology export experience producing vessels, the amount of VLS cells and the need to adapt the Australian SEAFAR2 radar system which is state of the art and is common to our fleet. Other considerations is that it has a remarkable turn of speed of over 30 knots which is handy as an escort to Japan’s converted Carrier with similar speed capabilities. In fact I think Australia should choose the Mogami Class keeping in mind that country’s inclusion into 2nd tier of AUKUS and the eventual possibility of Australia acquiring a Carrier of its own. The Japanese KAGA is ideal for that purpose ( with two main aircraft lifts rather than the one at the rear of our two LHDs). Our LHDs are two slow at only around 21 knots.

It is doubtful the military would be sending a single missile at any major warship anyway. The newest Tomahawks are slept on. They have insane range, and now have AI to be able to identify warships which I can only assume is a defense against jamming. Them having anti ship capabilities is a huge boom. Think it is the Block Va. All Block IV will be upgraded to one of the Block Vs. I beleive they are experimenting with a ram jet version for mach 3 capabilities.

One possibility is that after using the machine gun the air scoop valve for clearing the remaining gases from the bullets did not operate. Causing the machine gun compartment to explode destroying the aircraft! Something which was very well known by Lockheed.. Another well known fault during the use of the machine it’s motor used lots of amps causing wrong signal to the veins potentiometer of the uncle of attack, giving wrong information to the angle of attack computer energising the stick shaker and the kicker causing the aircraft to get in to an recoverable stall (because the pilot is unable to pull back the stick). I lost lots of friends because of those design faults of the F-104G.

Su-34 and f-15 are in different aircraft classes. Pointless comparison to try to put down the SU. Here, we can all make pointless statements: SU-34 has a higher payload than an F35.

I believe that the Chungnam Class are the best option for the RAN General Purpose Frigate. It would, ideally need to be fitted with RAN specific sensors and systems. The RAN has started to introduce the NSM and Tomahawk Cruise missile. CEAFAR-2L is a must as is 9LV Combat Management System.
