Drew deserves a lot of credit for her performance, producing etc. It was her idea to switch from Sidney to playing Kasey. I'm sure she pushed the promo material featuring her as the "main character" too. Such a great mislead and it all started with casting and advertising lol Also, out of all the deaths in the movie. Kasey had almost no ties to Sidney, all she did was sit next to her in class and she and her boyfriend died for it. Probably intentional to shake Sidneys nerves but holy fuck... It's brutal

For a movie that was basically a comedy, this was a really brutal scene.

This scene is so sad 😭😭😭

When I watched this as a 10 year old, it bothered me that she stayed by the house instead of running toward the road.

This was brilliant. Drew is on all the posters. She's front and center in some of them. A lot of people thought she was gonna be a main character. But she lasts maybe 10 minutes altogether. Brutal and shocking scene. When she was crying for her mom, so close to potentially being saved, that was sad. A different kind of horror for me back then. I was used to the quick Friday the 13th type kills. One stab and it's over. This took forever and her parents were right THERE!

She could have thrown the phone at her dumb-ass parents to get their attention. Just sayin'.

Drew Barrymore deserved an Oscar nomination for that one!!!

Did they ever reveal which of the two killers was responsible for each kill? Like this death seemed brutal as if he (the killer) really hated her.
