"Art is a Divine Thing, You Can Create it Without Any Knowledge" (GAYA, AD 2021)
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my anti-stress rehabilitation center
I’m experimenting and having fun!
In 2020, I’ve suffered from ICH and end up with Homonymous Hemianopia.
That didn't stop me, i continued painting, although less precisely ;-) ha ha ha
My ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage as many people as possible to start painting because i'm genuine example of how beneficial it can be, especially after traumatic life experiences.
FUN FACTS:
•\tI’m not officially qualified to teach you :-)
•\tYou probably know more about art than me
•\tSchool kills creativity
•\tIt’s hard to remain uneducated
Notice:
•\tFeel free to steal any of my ideas, techniques or “recipes”
•\tAsk me any question
•\tDon’t expect me to be serious!

The possibilities look great for this technique - just a question - since the gelatine has been painted over with acrylics, does this prevent the gelatine from deteriorating or will the surface gradually change? Thank you for the video!
@@louisevallack7233 You're welcome, thanks for your time and comment ☺ The surface and shape gradually change until the gelatin is completely dry, regardless of whether the paint is applied over it. I applied the paint just to show the different possibilities.
What wonderful idea! This would be great for creating mountains on a painting. Spaghetti sauce comes in glass jars that would make good vases. This technique is a great idea for hiding the rings at the top.
@@maggiekehoe4614 Thank you so much 🙂 I've never tried applying it to glass so I don't know how it would behave 🤔 As for the mountains, it's great, i tried that👍Especially for achieving the effect of snow👌
@ I plan to mix it on palette paper and then apply it using a tiny spoon and palette knife. I don’t expect the glass to adversely affect the chemical reaction but you never know.
@@maggiekehoe4614 I don't think the glass will affect the chemical reaction, but I'm afraid it might separate from the glass when it dries. I advise you to make the mix in a bowl and feel free to add some wood glue, it might help it stick better to the glass
Ma perché? Che senso ha?
If you don't see the point of this video, it means it's not meant for you. This technique is primarily intended for people who like to create interesting and unique textures in their artwork. Thanks for your comment, Cheers 😊

i wonder if insects love this mix or not?
@@_Diana_S Hello 😊 I don't know which insects you specifically have a problem with? It's great against mosquitoes, you'll never have them in your house again, but avoid it if you have cockroaches, they consider it a delicacy 🤤😎😉
you didn't show us the whole painting; the mosaic part is gorgeous!
Haha. It was not possible to show the painting because this is not a painting 😆😅 Read the video title again. It is clearly shown in the video what the dried texture looks like, just before that mosaic 😉 Cheers
Could have shown the pic at the end😮
Hello 😊 I did not put a picture because it is a demonstration of the painting technique and not a work of art. How the texture itself looks when it dries can be seen after 1:02 min. You may have accidentally missed it. Thanks for your interest. Cheers 😊

It's cool how the texture of the mat you used sort of gives the skin the look of a canvas. I really like how you take advantage of the "happy accidents", and make them more intentional and interesting. Keen to see what you do with this piece :)
@@itskorine Thank you so much 🙂 Extremely good observation, i might say, the best ever 😀 👍 👏👏👏 I do like "happy accidents" and intuitive painting cause it grants you satisfaction of experimenting and making "mistakes" 😁 And yes, the texture of mat will always be transferred to skin so it gives us countless options to choose from 😎

May be the problem is in the tape??
I knew I shouldn't have bought masking tape at the flea market 😅🤣🤣🤣 Joking aside, this process is very useful when using a slightly more watery color for some more transparent layers. Also, it's very recommendable to do this process when doing pouring painting techniques. From various experiences, I prefer to do this process with a "better safe than sorry" mindset, especially with the final details. 😉😊 Has it ever happened to you that the paint goes under the tape?
@@gaya-art in pouring techniques i have not had such problems but in water colour yes. i think it is also connected with the colour consistency. the thicker paint the less problem with tape.
@@svetlanaulmann9104 Yes, that's correct, consistency matters 👍 If it happened to you then you know how frustrating it can be 🙄😅

@@Karibee61 Thank you so much 😊 No, not at all. It just dries up and becomes very firm 😎
@@gaya-art I must try it. Much love and peace from London UK
@@Karibee61 Thanks, likewise from Belgrade Serbia 😊 Try it, it's very satisfying and interesting to experiment and work with 😉 Have in mind it'll create different kind of texture depending on how much water you add. You can also mix it without water for roughest version🤓
@gaya-art thank you so much. Have you tried Gel plate printing? If not, you must. Gel plates are a fabulous medium. There are loads of great youtube tutorials. Look out for artwhisperer 88. He is amazing. I think you will enjoy the process and his videos. I look forward to seeing more from you. Have a lovely evening.😊
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check him. I know what gel plate is but i haven't tried it yet. I'll surely try when i get an idea how to implement that technique in my mostly textured artworks. Wish you all the best, stay well, Cheers 😊
Not good... garbage!
Hello, thank you for your time and comment 😊 The lack of good ideas and the absence of imagination on how to use this technique does not necessary mean that it is garbage 😉 Did you even read the title or description of this video?
Geez, he's _demonstrating a technique_ for painters/artists/creatives to experiment with. As we've gathered by your commentary, those descriptors clearly do not apply to you so just move along and put your energy into something more useful than insulting someone openly sharing a simple art technique with the world that many creatives _will_ appreciate.

This one doesn't seem to have cracks like the "ugliest painting". Why do you think that is?
You didn't notice, that's because I bent the "ugliest painting" a bit to get cracks. It's shown somewhere around the seventh minute in the video. 😊 Cracks can be obtained without bending, but a thicker layer must be made.
@@gaya-art Thanks for the reply. I did notice that, but I thought the bending was showing off the cracks more. I couldn't tell the cracks resulted from the bending. Thanks for clarifying 😃
You're welcome 😊 Cracks can also be obtained by adding a higher percentage of water as well as making a thicker texture.
What an awesome experiment! It ends up looking a bit like dry, flattened playdough.
Thanks 😊 Yes, good observation, it looks something like that 👍
I really enjoyed the whole process of making it 8:28 👍❤️ All the best 👍 for your creative journey
Thank you so much, you too 😊
It looks durable 👍❤️ You did it great 👍 apply a layer of paint at the end 👍❤️ How much time it will take to dry?
Yes, it's durable. Mentioned layer is not paint, it's transparent collage gel for protection and shine. It should dry for at least 72 hours.
It also looks a volcanic eruption but very colourful and beautiful and peaceful
I like it's texture and bubbles 👍
Did you added water 💦 with syringe 💉?
Yes
Wow ... It looks so satisfying
Yes it is, i truly enjoy every time I'm doing it 😁
I want to ask a question? Would it be durable without any breakage in texture. I use sand for making a texture that's truly durable but I use glue to mix with sand and finally apply acrylic.
Yes, it is durable without breakage in texture, i was just having fun and doing something different with this one. You can see how it looks like in these 2 videos. ua-cam.com/video/G_ezHQDu5vU/v-deo.htmlsi=FyIgcGeBwF7aa6lH ua-cam.com/video/-6fHAsFpSKE/v-deo.htmlsi=rOJaMhdq8gEtPY6A

What a godawful mess.
@@auldburdlaughin Thank you for your time and comment. Are you just another one who didn't read the title properly and think this is a painting or do you just not find this process and texture interesting in general?
@@gaya-art My apologies, I didn't intend to sound so rude! I use baking powder in a mix to clear blocked drains, sinks etc, and the result of your mix made me think of the reaction with the gunge in the drain. I certainly didn't think it was a painting. The particular colours used probably didn't help. I had no idea baking powder would react like that with paint - is there any problem with fumes, or any reaction with the paper? Personally, I don't like the result but that's likely due to my previous use of the substance. Again, I apologise for any upset caused.
@@auldburdlaughin Please don't apologise, you have every right not to like something. Don't worry, I'm not upset or insulted, I like to communicate with my community and I appreciate every feedback. I was just curious to know the reason, nothing else. It would probably squeeze and deform the paper while drying but on canvas it doesn't make any reaction. Thanks for your reply. Stay well, Cheers 😊
I've been thinking about what you said and wondering how it's possible to clean drains with baking powder so I did some research and realised that you must be using baking soda to do it... 😅😊 You would probably realise that before me if you read the video description. I wrote there as a notice for people who want to try this technique "Baking Soda is Not Baking Powder"
@@gaya-art Now I'm mortified! I really am an auld burd, so I'll put it down as an age thing 🤔 Thanks though, it's rather an important difference! (btw, I've never baked anything in my life...)
