I think there’s a Very similar play in normal y off close in eagles which also has a bad bunch nasty and trips te flex.

ive been running this Plybook since day1 . singleback bunch X nasty...is one of the more frustrating schemes in the game no one knows about. its under center so most people stay away from it. with blitzes being easier to block this year under center, for rpo, runs and simple high /lows - under center has been money for me. I use the entire run n gun book- everything..rarely show my opp the same play in a game run or pass. No matter the form, a drag is a drag and a post is a post. single back 2TE is murder this year against dime 2/3 and meta blitzes- and run n gun has a great single back 2te package I love this playbook from front to back. currently grinding to reach top 100 and again I rarely use the same play

run dive plays all day on this up and down the field. run 2 TE sets, or sub in te to get better blocking on DBs . reason people cant run on dollar is because they are using shotgun sets which are not prime running sets. whenever opp comes out in 3 or more DB as a base def, use big sets to over power the DB with impact blocks

54 yr old Madden player here, been playing since Madden made video game companies put real football sim on the field. I've just come back to MUT after almost 8years away. Since online play began, I have always finished top 10 or number 1 (old ranking format). absolutely love this content, you and Civil have even my wife sitting watching and learning, (she always watches me play even in our 50s). I've only been back playing a few weeks and have so much to learn, and you guys are filling the void. Thanks a ton for the effort, and the commentary you both do is really outstanding. One note though- the run game is fantastic this year, I've been a hard-core runner since the days when DE were being put in purple zones and 2-man rushes was enough to get your QB. dollar and mug are my fav def to run on, but versatility is the key. the splits on dollar are too wide, dive plays KILL dollar especially from pistol, single 2TE, or with a FB. all you need to do is double the DT and give the dt a false read on the direction you're going. the blitzing backer can be a problem if not patient. but beat those 2 and runs up the middle til they leave the def dubmug is cake also, any pass combo can be done from any formation, under center with good pass pro, is working great this year- the days of true glitchy blitzes are gone. go back under center and find out how good run is. as long as the def has defensive backs on the field any 2TE set will dominate, get WR with good run block or sub certain WR out for TE in certain forms. wr will always be shed faster is why shotgun runs don't work as well, shotgun runs also have the problem of only being able to go in one direction, that's where PISTOL rules, plus pistol runs especially dive plays have a built-in pause sim to rpo runs, enabling you to set up blocks and pick a hole before the def pursues post snap. the only blitz I haven't blocked is the dollar on the right hash, but I have slowed it by ID the far right CB, the guard picks him up most times then you can DT any of the others depending on who you see is shedding fastest. I just got comfy enough with the big boys in Champs and gauntlet this week, got only 15 games in but only 2 losses before it timed out.. running has been my short game, leaving my passes as a surprise in a pinch. I use 3 backs, speed, trucker, and a pass catcher. add in im running alot of 2man under with mixed shading and hawking from one of the 2 safeties from up top. man with mixed shading and mixing match zones to give a comfort to my opp then pop a shaded man, and play robber from the top down. because they will usually resort to big crossers that are easy to hover and drop down under. again EXCELLENT content, ---steering blockers, sealing blocks, stick pressure, pauses and counting numbers in the box from the center out, and understanding HOW to get your blockers to reach the LBs, is key to running the ball. the game knows your stick movements, so just like most games you need what I call dummy movements...the DT responds to those movements most aggressive of all. have to manipulate him, with post snap steering, pressure and a dummy directions and double teams when you have a FREE guard, if both guards are covered the LB will be free so have to be sure the DT is done with an uncovered guard, thats why dollar is so weak and can be run against.
