wow! how long did it take?
The dress assembly and vinyl application were an evening of work, so that wasn’t too bad. It was mainly the vectorizing part that took the longest. It took a few evenings of messing with the image to be in proportion to me and not the doll, and also breaking it apart for my Cricut mats. I drew over her dress in Illustrator and it had to be tweaked quite a bit 😅

I comment again, your works look of a better quality than those seen in recent years in the carpets; in addition to the fact that they are not visually unpleasant.
With natural hair and a matching hairstyle, this is something worthy of verse on the red carpets. Something like this would be an example for other artists of how a carpet should look without wanting to cause an impact.

@@fernandaorona5778 This is based off her 2022 Disney designer doll, so it’s intended to be a fun high fashion reimagining of her. There isn’t a headband included in the design 😉

Hey I was wondering what you make the feathers out of? I've been wanting to make wings for ages but I need them to be coloured so it's kinda difficult
You can create the feather parts with different options, depending on what your preferences are. Mine are actual feathers, but I have seen people use craft foam, felt, and packaging foam (the flat sheets). I hope that helps with giving you some options to consider!

Wow I’ve never thought of doing this before! It’s gonna be a pain if I ever have to travel with the wings I’ve already made 😭 the wingspan is about five feet and it’s a solid piece I can’t fold
I’ve totally been there with making wings the u-bar method! My wings were made using the steel wire frame method that u-bar wings use. Depending on how you made them, they could possibly be tweaked for travel, if you ever find yourself needing to pack them. It would just be kind of scary because it would involve some cutting. Vickybunny Angel also has a helpful tutorial on the cosplaysupplies.com blog that uses a magnet method.
